"A WHAT RANK NOW!?"
"What!? What happened?" said Ryogaku, startled by the outburst
'I said that out loud, but this is bad, a B-Rank is a lot more dangerous than any C-Rank dungeon, moreover, these kids had problems beating the C-Rank boss, while C-Rank monsters are fodders in this dungeon, maybe it even has a B-Rank boss'
'This will be extremely annoying, but I'll still try to increase my proficiency and such'
"What rank monsters can you kill with ease?", asked Sukuna as he sighed.
"I'm sure I can easily kill a few D-Ranks, C-Ranks might be a problem though" said Ryogaku.
"Same with me" both Anny and Johan said
"I can kill E-Ranks, but I have problems with stronger D-Ranks" said Alexia
*sigh* "Well this will be problematic then" said Sukuna, "This dungeon has evolved to B-Rank somehow"
" . . . "
" . . . "
"WHAAT!?" all four said in unison
"Moreover, it's a red gate, so we can't leave"
"WHY, HOW!?", they all said in unison, again
'I'm impressed, they even think the same'
After a little while of panic
"Well, I think we'll be fine, you have me, right" said Sukuna with a smug smile.
"We know you're strong, but B-Rank? There's a possibility there's a B-Rank boss, and you know how much stronger they are, right?" asked Anny.
"Yeah, but do we have a choice? I'm clearing this dungeon and getting some training in between, I assume there are mostly E and D-Ranks, while C-Ranks are closer to the boss room" said Sukuna as he walked out of the small room in which they started into the area of the dungeon.

.
.
.
.
"Where is everyone now?"
Sukuna was alone in a room which looked like a mansion from an ancient civilization, its walls were made of rough rocks and some mana stones were fixed on the walls in non-uniform intervals.
There was no vegetation in the room and he could see a bunch of E-Rank and D-Rank monsters in there, wolves, rabbits, bears, and such monsters filled the room.
There was only one exit to the room, which probably went towards the center of the dungeon, to the boss room.
The room had a strong smell of blood, it seemed that some of the weaker monsters were killed by stronger ones. The dungeon rooms have only one path, so it is possible that some stronger monsters came here and the weaker ones could not escape.
Sukuna assumed that everyone was split up individually into such rooms, and they had to go to the boss room by themselves, which would be really difficult for the level first-years are in the academy.
'The main characters are strong, they are even stronger than in the original game because of my intervention, Johan thinks he got a person to surpass and this caused him to work even harder, Ryogaku, as Johan's rival, did not want to see Johan getting stronger than him, so he trained even harder, then Alexia and Anny got motivated by seeing these two work so hard.'
'Even though they are stronger, the monsters are also stronger, so it'll be much harder. I'm also not there to help them in perilous situations.'
'Well, if everyone goes to the center of the dungeon we'll meet up soon enough, I'm a little worried about Alexia though, but she has healing magic, it should be fine'
'I guess I'll start killing monsters, free EXP is not to be missed'
'Dismantle'

.
Everyone was not divided individually, Sukuna was alone in one side of the dungeon, while Anny and Johan were together at another side, and Ryogaku and Alexia were together in another room.
.
.
.
Anny and Johan were in a huge room, its floor was muddy water, while vegetation hung from the roof.
Both Anny and Johan were standing on a big rock which gave them a good view of the whole room, the side of the room they were in had a muddy floor and a few E-Rank monsters, while the side away from them, where the only exit in the room was present, was filled in water and had a few E and D-Rank aquatic monsters, such as fishes with huge teeth.
Boss monsters of dungeons are usually part of a set group, E-Rank dungeons have 10 possible boss monsters, while the normal creatures in the dungeons change according to the dungeon, there can be slight differences in the monsters which change how they act and their lethality.
These monsters are divided into a few groups, such as E-Rank fish usually look like normal fish, while C-Rank fish are much larger than normal and have overdeveloped sharp teeth, and possibly many eyes, so hunters have to find out the monsters' weaknesses while clearing the dungeon and form a plan quickly.
Well, smart hunters had to . . .
"LET'S GOOOOOO IT'S TIME FOR YOU TO DIE" screamed Johan as he jumped onto the floor and started punching monsters left and right.
Anny sighed, but had a small smile on her face, this is how Johan always was, and it cheered her up and gave her some confidence to see him act like that, she stayed back on the rock and fired spells aimed at the monsters.
[Fire Arrow]
*whoosh*
"OI YOU ALMOST HIT ME" screamed Johan as a monster close to him burst up in flames
"Okay okay, sorry" said Anny while giggling, they both knew that Johan would have had injuries if she didn't fire that shot, and she knew that Johan knew, and was just joking. The friendship of these four was something to be envious of, sometimes they had such good chemistry that it felt like they were reading each other's minds.
.
Anny and Johan cleared the room in a few minutes and went into the next one, which had literally no characteristics that stood out, it was just like a cave, with a little vegetation here and there, again, there were only two paths, one that went back to the room they came from, and one that went to the center of the dungeon.
In the middle of the room, there was a huge bear looking monster standing on two feet, facing away from them, they both figured that it was a low C-Rank.
They both glanced at each other and nodded. Anny fired a freezing spell on the bear, while Johan rushed in with his spiked knuckles, which looked like they were made of metal, but were made of high rank mana stones, and hence were classified as an A-Rank weapon.
He hardened the knuckles using mana and perfectly stabbed the eyes of the monster while it could not move due to the freezing spell.
The bear roared and tried to swipe him away with his arms, but he just ducked and ran between his legs, punching the bear from behind, knocking him to the floor, while Anny sent a fire arrow into the bear's head.
The bear got up and started flailing its arms, hoping that it would hit one of them, but Johan backed off, Anny created an ice spike near the bear's feet, causing it to trip and fall.
Johan ran to the bear, who was now laying down on the floor and started punching its head with his knuckles while Anny sent low level fire spells on its body.
The bear stopped moving in a few seconds, indicating that it had died.
Seeing this, Johan gave a thumbs-up to Anny while she just nodded and started walking towards the next room, Johan followed just behind her.
