Chapter 7 - Trapping the wrong person

Outside, when the young man exited the bar, he found himself surrounded by ten armed men, including the man who had previously fled with his tail between his legs. As the young man calmly observed the men encircling him, the fugitive pointed fiercely and aggressively at him.

"That's him... That's the young man who attacked us," the fugitive indicated, his face contorted with malice.

Upon hearing him speak, a man who appeared to be the leader among them said, "I'm tired of life for hitting one of our gang members, you little punk."

The young man was angered by the man's words, but he maintained a mocking expression and retorted, "So the dog has fled between his legs, calling for a pack of wild dogs."

His words incited rage among the mercenaries, cursing him vehemently. However, the young man paid no heed to them and began walking towards them.

The mercenaries were taken aback by his initiative, but they quickly regrouped and advanced as attackers. "Damn you!" the first to attack was the largest man among them, wielding a bone club.

Seeing the attack coming towards him, the young man took a larger step, moving beyond the range of the club. Simultaneously, he grabbed the man's hand holding the club and took an additional step while striking the man's face with his elbow in a downward attack. This caused the large man to feel dizzy and stagger backward.

Nevertheless, the young man didn't stop there. He grabbed the big man's head and forcefully pressed it towards the ground. After that blow, the big man fainted, blood trickling from his head.

The young man then proceeded to attack the remaining members. After the big man, another man lunged at him with an axe, aiming for his head. However, the young man sidestepped the attack and swiftly reached for the man's neck, applying pressure to make him drop his weapon.

At that moment, another person attacked from the side with a dagger aimed at the young man's neck. However, the young man continued to hold onto the first man's neck while slightly retracting his upper body to avoid the dagger's thrust. Then, he delivered a strong and rapid front kick to the attacker's chin, causing him to faint and collapse to the ground.

...

Then, another person came from the front and attacked with a sword. But the young man threw the throttled man towards the attacker, causing him to hesitate in his assault and try to catch his companion.

However, at that moment, the young man swiftly advanced and attacked with several punches to the faces of both men, knocking them unconscious to the ground.

Seeing their fallen comrades, the rest of the men ceased their attack, struck with some fear. The young man looked at them and spoke, "I'll give you a chance to leave. Take your comrades and get out of here."

Complete suppression. In their years as part of the mountain mercenary group, they had never encountered an opponent like this. They were used to being in control of the village people and doing as they pleased to some extent. But today, their dignity was swept away.

Seeing their terrified comrades and those lying on the ground, the leader's eyes flashed with annoyance and cruelty. In addition to being annoyed by the young man's gaze, he shouted angrily, "You cowardly scoundrels, he's just one person... Why are you retreating? And you, little brat, don't rejoice too much because I'll make you regret what you've done."

With these words, the man drew his sword from its sheath and approached the young man slowly.

Seeing the man walking towards him with a sword in hand, the young man also started walking towards him, bare-handed.

Upon seeing this, the man's anger intensified. "It seems you look down on me... Die, you scoundrel!"

At the moment they closed in, the leader attacked first with his sword from the side, swiftly. However, as the young man dodged, the man launched another attack quickly. Yet, the young man evaded him again. Thus, the man continued his advance while the young man retreated, avoiding his attacks.

"Stop dodging and fight like a man," the leader exclaimed in annoyance as he swung his sword at the young man with all his might.

Despite being annoyed that he couldn't hit the young man, the leader swung his sword as fast as he could. However, the young man continued to evade, stepping back a few paces. Then suddenly, he kicked one of the daggers towards the leader.

The leader was surprised by the dagger coming at him, but being a skilled fighter, his reaction was swift. He deflected the dagger aside with his empty hand. However, as he did so, he found that the young man had approached him and threw two punches at his face.

Despite quickly blocking one of the punches with his empty hand, the second punch hit him in the nose. Enraged that he had been deceived, the leader raised his sword in an attempt to attack. However, at that moment, after the young man delivered the two punches, he swiftly drew his sword from its sheath and cut off the arm of the man holding the sword.

"Ah! My arm! My arm!" the man screamed, writhing in pain as he held his bleeding arm.

After severing the man's arm, the young man stopped his attack and looked at the man who was now sobbing in pain before him.

"Look, I gave you a chance and you didn't take it... But I'm generous, and I'll give you another chance... Now, leave or don't blame me for staining the ground with your blood today."

Hearing the young man's words, the man was angry and annoyed, but it was clear about the difference in power between them. So he stood up and began to retreat, speaking in a threatening tone, "Just wait and see... Don't leave the village if you're brave... Believe me, you'll regret what you've done to us today."

With these words, the mercenaries left the village and headed towards the forest.

...

Tyranny. That's all that can be said about the young man's actions.

For the villagers who watched, the mercenaries were akin to rulers, and no one dared to defy them. But today, the mercenaries' dignity was completely wiped out.

After the fight, the young man walked towards the market street, contemplating to himself...

"Although I might not need food when I sow, it's hard to give up the desire to eat, and I don't want that either... Also, I need to skin the bodies of the wolf creatures as they're useful for flesh grafting... Let's buy some supplies first..."

And so, the young man headed towards the market and found a shop selling equipment...

After purchasing a sharp knife, some ropes, and pots, he exited and spent the rest of his money on spices and vegetables...

However, he carried them in his hands because he didn't know how scarce his backpack was, and he didn't want to attract some greedy eyes... Not out of fear of trouble, but he didn't want to engage in excessive fighting and killing without good reason...

That's how the young man left the entrance from which the mercenaries had exited...

Seeing the footprints leading towards the area of the monsters, the young man smiled a cold smile and murmured quietly...

" chi cultivator !! it's time to hunt hehehehe "

Thus, the young man followed the footprints of the mercenaries, and after entering the forest and making sure that there was no one around him, he put his belongings in his back bag and set off following the mercenaries...
