CHAPTER 54: THE UNEXPECTED.
"You can go do your thing, but do not get drunk," Ava instructed Kane, as they were already at the bar.
"I'm good ma'am. I'll just be here watching over you," Kane responded.
"You're not here to watch over me, okay. Go have fun, I'll let you know when it's time to go home," Ava said.
"Alright ma'am. Just go ahead and do your thing, I'll sort myself out," Kane responded.
"Hey pretty! Can you dance with me?" A young guy whispered into Ava's ear, as the music began playing.
"No. Thanks," Ava responded.
"Oops! Okay!" the guy responded, and chuckled softly. He quietly walked away.
"Yeah! This is my favorite song!" Ava screamed loudly, as the DJ quickly segued to another song. She laughed at loud, and grabbed a bottle of beer. And began having fun, as she dances and drinks.
"Be careful ma'am!" Kane screamed, as he watched her go into the dancing floor.
"Sort yourself out!" Ava yelled.
