CHAPTER 30: FAMILY CALLED.
"Hey honey. How have you been?" Mr Muroe asked his daughter, as he placed a call across to her.
"Hey Dad. Am good," Ava responded, as she picked the call.
"How are you and mom doing?" Ava asked.
"We are doing well honey. Still at work?" Mr Muroe asked.
"Yes, but am about closing for the day," Ava responded.
"Oh, hope your day wasn't a busy one?" Mr Muroe asked.
"It was as usual, but I'm fine," Ava responded.
"I trust my only daughter. But still, take things easy on yourself okay," he advised.
"I will Mr Muroe. Isn't she there?" Ava asked, wondering.
"Not at the moment," Mr Muroe responded, and chuckled softly.
"I said it. We wouldn't have had a peaceful conversation if she was there with you," Ava asked.
"Do not mind your mother. She can be so at times," Mr Muroe said, and chuckled softly.
"At times you said? Everytime dad, everytime," she said.
