CHAPTER 27: GRIPPED WITH FEAR.
"Take me home," Ava instructed Marty, as she got into the car, leaving Kane behind.
"Okay boss. But Kane isn't here yet," Marty said, as he looked through the glass window, and saw Kane rushing out from the bar.
"I said, drive?" she yelled, frowning her brows.
"Alright boss. Did he do anything in there?" Marty asked, wondering.
"Will you stop questioning me, and take me home," Ava said angrily.
"Am sorry boss," Marty apologized, and drove off, heading back home.
'What the heck happened again?' Marty thought, as he drove.
"I do not want to see that fool anywhere close to me," Ava instructed Marty.
"You mean Kane?" Marty asked, for clarification.
"Isn't he a fool?" Ava asked Marty.
"I can see boss," Marty responded, wisly.
"Good. So do exactly what I've told you," Ava said, grabbing her phone.
