POV: Third Person
HYDRA Research Base, Sokovia
Bordering Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
Ten Minutes After the Battle Begins.
A red-armored figure soars above the site, firing missiles and energy blasts from its hands at the soldiers below.
"That was easy. Next," Stark says.
"Miss Angela seems to be surrounded, sir," Stark's AI speaks through his suit's communicator.
"Saving damsels in distress was one of the reasons I built this armor!"
With these words, Stark twists his body and flies towards the direction indicated by Jarvis. His current role in this battle is to provide support and destroy enemy artillery. Stark doesn't mind it; he loves playing the savior for his friends. However, along the way to Angela, he doesn't think she needs help. Throughout his path, there are signs of struggle and bodies lying in the snow.
Angela has left a trail of destruction behind her.
Then he arrives at the center of the fight, where he sees dozens of soldiers strategically positioned around Angela. She is running towards them, slashing with her sword. The ribbons on her suit seem alive, grabbing soldiers within their reach and throwing them like dolls several meters away.
Stark abruptly lands behind her and aims his repulsors, firing at four soldiers about to shoot RPGs at Angela's back.
"What are you doing here, Tin Man?" Angela asks, without much joy in seeing him.
"Helping, of course. And I've told you, my name is Iron Man," he says, firing more missiles at their enemies.
"I'd rather be food for Hel's hounds than be helped by you," she exclaims, running towards another group of soldiers.
"In fact, that wasn't one of the worst insults I've received from a woman," Stark says, following Angela.

"Weak humans!"
The green figure speaks as he lifts an enemy tank over his head, then hurls it hundreds of meters away.
"Indeed, my green friend!"
Thor lands a few inches from Hulk and looks at their enemies.
"There's no glory in playing with such weak enemies," he tells his friend.
Thor and Hulk are tasked with destroying the enemy base. However, they have to wait for Baldur's new friend to save those trapped inside and for the energy shield to be destroyed. So, in the meantime, they attack anything that stands in their way.
"Hulk tired of this. Hulk goes there," the green giant says, pointing towards the castle.
"Our mission isn't to attack the base, at least not for now. But they never said we couldn't just gauge the enemy's strength," Thor says, smiling.
Then the two start running towards the castle, destroying anything in their path. However, their progress is soon hindered when the castle's defenses target them. The same artillery that destroyed the forest around the castle now focuses all attention on them.
Hulk is hit several times, his wounds are minor, but his rage only increases. Thor, on the other hand, uses his hammer to fly in the air and dodge the shots. However, he can't both approach and dodge simultaneously, and when he tries, he is hit by an energy blast that sends him flying. But this doesn't deter them; it only increases their desire to reach their enemy.
POV: Baldur.
HYDRA Research Base, Sokovia, Bordering Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
Twenty Minutes After the Battle Begins.
The Sentinel tries to cut me with its blade-like arm, but Sigel is faster, and with one swift motion, I destroy the robot.
"You said we should go slow, Baldur," Amora says from my side.
A Sentinel tries to fire at her; a green shield protects her, and with a gesture of her hand, the shield fires like a car, hitting the robot squarely, sending it flying.
"I am going slow, Amora, but these things annoy me!" I say, dodging another energy attack.
The success of today's mission doesn't depend on us but on Wanda and her brother. We are here outside, dealing with Hydra's brute force, while their attention is on us. The siblings will rescue those trapped, and then we can start the attack. For this to work, we mustn't end the fight too quickly; if we do, the enemy will panic and try to flee before we want them to. Of course, they are already prepared for this. But humans, when backed into a corner, can make crazy decisions, like activating some kind of self-destruct device or something.
That's why we're delaying things here, destroying four out of the ten Sentinels.
"I apologize for the interruption, sir," Alice says through my communicator.
"Speak quickly, Alice," I say, dodging two more Sentinels firing at me.
"Miss Wanda has begun her attack," Alice continues.
"Sure?"
The energy barrier around the location is reasonably good; it doesn't have great defensive power, but it can withstand almost any Earth weaponry. The only really good thing about it is that it can even obstruct our sensors, so we have no idea what's happening inside the castle.
"Some of the soldiers who were on standby outside are now running desperately inside the facility."
"That's good confirmation for me."
Deflecting the arm of a Sentinel and gripping it with my free arm, I exert force and rip the robot's entire arm off. Naturally, it didn't care and attempted to fire at me, but I move quickly, grabbing its head and unleashing a point-blank energy blast, destroying its head.
"I think we can finish off these annoying robots now, Amora," I say as the destroyed Sentinel's body falls to the ground.
POV: Third Person.
Containment Cells, HYDRA Research Base, Sokovia, Border with Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
Shortly Before the Battle Begins.
2014.
Wanda sat on the cold floor of her cell. Since the conversation she had with the Viking two weeks ago, she had not taken any action other than to obey any orders given by the scientists.
The reason they gave for her and her brother being in cells was caution; they still didn't have control over their powers. She found this reason valid before and didn't fight it; she even convinced her brother to accept it. But when she discovered the truth about those who imprisoned her, she nearly lost herself in blind fury. Fortunately, Viking was there to calm her down.
So she waited, for two weeks she did nothing more than try to learn to control her power. Now she was somewhat confident to engage in battle. The problem was her brother; he was always hot-headed, but she managed to calm him down and make him wait.
Then, in the midst of another calm day, before they started running tests on them to "help" them, a series of explosions caused the entire cell to shake.
"Finally!" Wanda exclaimed.
She got up and brushed the dust that fell from the ceiling off her body due to the tremors, which stopped after a while. She then walked to the transparent door of her cell, her hands began to glow red, and the table and chair in her room floated in the air and shot towards the door.
"BAMM!" "BAMM!"
Unfortunately, the material of the cell was much more resistant than she thought; the table and chair simply shattered without even scratching the transparent door. So she tried something different; a burst of red energy shot from her hands, but once again, there was no visible damage to the cell, which was obviously designed to withstand her powers.
"They should have given us the key or something," she said irritably.
She then made telepathic contact with her brother, but unfortunately, he was having as much luck as she was. All they could do was keep trying.
Then, after more unsuccessful attempts, a scientist appeared at her door and simply opened it.
"What happened here?" he asked confused, looking at the remains of the furniture scattered on the floor.
Wanda didn't answer and rushed towards him, placing her hand on the scientist's head, which glowed red.
"Sleep," she said calmly, and the man fell to the floor.
She then took the scientist's access card and left the cell.
"It seems pretending to be cooperative has its advantages," she said to herself.
Perhaps the scientist had only come here to release them and get them into battle; that's what she was going to do, but not on their side.
Wanda quickly went to the adjacent cell, inserted the access card into the door, and inside was a man with white hair wearing a straitjacket and writhing at high speed.
"Calm down, brother, let me help you," she said, calming her brother, who obeyed.
After freeing her brother, the two immediately headed out of the cell. They didn't need to communicate to know what to do; they had almost perfect cooperation. The area they were in was quite empty; their friends were being held elsewhere, and that's where they were going.
As they left the containment room, they came face to face with two armed guards who took no action against them, perhaps out of shock. Then Pietro disappeared from Wanda's side and reappeared behind the two guards; he quickly knocked them down.
"I found them," Wanda said after accessing one of the guards' computers.
Her brother understood and dashed down the corridors, knocking down anyone he encountered. It didn't take more than a few seconds for him to return to where Wanda was.
"They're okay," he said.
Then the two calmly walked through the now secure corridors to another containment area and found their surviving friends. Out of over a hundred of them, only ten remained, which certainly made them furious.
As they were in the lowest part of the underground base, there were very few guards here, but it would become more dangerous when they ascended towards the surface. They couldn't take ten people who were very debilitated with them. So, they were left in a secure room while the siblings set out to attack.
As they ascended another floor, they encountered more men this time. Wanda took the lead, using her powers to make any object near her shoot at them, while Pietro raced at high speed, knocking down anyone with a weapon. They continued like this, going up floor by floor, until they reached the heart of everything.
An entire empty floor, except for a room that was undoubtedly the grandest in the base. It was empty, with no need for security in this area. But within it sat a giant robot on what seemed to be a throne, its chest open, with various machines moving frantically, building something.
"Danger, danger, unauthorized individuals detected, initiating defense mode!" spoke the machine.
Wanda knew this was an important location for Hydra, which was enough for her to want to destroy it.
But she underestimated the power of Master Mold.
