POV: Third Person.
Near the Triskelion, Theodore Roosevelt Island
Potomac River, Between Washington D.C. and Virginia.
Shortly after the arrival of Stark and Banner.
Three armors kept firing at each other in the air with energy bursts. Stark didn't want to get too close, and this was the best way to keep them at bay. Then the woman wearing a green armor without a helmet and wielding a sword returned to the battlefield, but she ignored Stark and fired once more towards Baldur's woman. Stark then ignored his two attackers as well and rushed to intercept.
"Jarvis, have you analyzed her armor yet?"
{The specifications of her armor resemble the Mark IV, sir.}
Stark then manages to get in front of the green armor before it reaches Amora. The woman tries to strike him with her sword, which Stark grabs with his hand and then headbutts the woman, who, without her helmet, suffers greatly. He then lets go of the sword and points his open hand at her, but this time, he doesn't fire an energy blast, but an electromagnetic pulse. The effect is immediate: the lights on the chest of the green armor go out, as does its thruster, causing it to plummet from the sky.
"Good thing I protected the later versions of the armor against EMP."
{She'll need a few minutes to reboot, sir.}
"Great, then..."
"Boom!"
Stark's distraction causes him to be grabbed around the waist by one of the Sentinels. Stark loses control and the two spin in the air, then they start falling at high speed, hitting another Sentinel as they ascend.
"BOOM!!"
They crash into the trees on the other side of the island. Iron Man gets up and uses his thrusters to reach the height of the Sentinel already in the air, hitting it with a combination of punches. The second Sentinel then gets up, fires at Stark's back, but he dodges, causing the shot to hit its comrade.
Stark seizes the opportunity to spin his body and hit the one who fired with an energy blast, then he approaches and uses the laser on his wrist to cut off one of the Sentinel's arms, which falls to the ground. The attack was too fast for it to transform to defend itself.
The Sentinel that received the shot from its comrade has already recovered and tries to thrust its hand into Stark's back, who flies upward and fires several missiles downward.
"Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!"
These missiles are made of incendiary material, and upon impact, they create a massive explosion of flames that nearly hit Stark several meters above. The flames have a high enough temperature to melt metal; not even his armor could withstand such heat without damage.
"What do you think, Jarvis? Are we done here?" Stark asks his AI.
{I'm quite sure we're not, sir.}
When the flames subside, both armors are still intact, albeit with a different color. Then, both armors attack them once again.
"This shapeshifting is getting really annoying."
{I recommend causing physical damage, sir.}
Stark attacks one of the Sentinels by punching it in the air, causing it to fall onto the island. The second one is hit by one of the repulsors. Stark then flies to the one that fell on the ground and hits it with both hands above its head, preventing it from getting up. Then, he knees it in the head with such force that it remains upright. He grabs the robot's only arm and places his open hand on its helmet, but before firing, he is forced to retreat as the robot changes its hand into a sword, almost piercing his body.
The second Sentinel lands behind him and slashes his back with its sword-shaped hand. Stark then turns his body and steps on the machine's helmet, firing the boot thruster to push it back. When it falls a few meters away, he points both arms forward and fires flames from one wrist and a white mist, liquid nitrogen, from the other.
The Sentinel then once again changes its form to try to better protect itself from the attack, but it doesn't know which attack to defend against since Stark is attacking with two different types. The Sentinel's color keeps changing from one to another until the robot seems to simply freeze. Stark seizes this brief moment and uses the wrist laser to decapitate it, finally ending his first target.
"This is the problem with using low-processing systems in super armors."
The second Sentinel doesn't care about the destruction of the first and continues its attack. Stark continues with pure physical combat; he can't use the laser anymore due to high energy consumption, so he's waiting for the right moment.
"How's our energy, Jarvis?"
{Forty percent, sir.}
Using armor for reentry into Earth is something it wasn't designed for, so he spent a considerable amount of his energy protecting himself.
"Put thirty percent into the Unibeam, and wait."
The opportunity presented itself, Stark grabbed both arms of the Sentinel and pulled it toward him, bringing it closer.
"Now!" he shouted to Jarvis.
Then from his chest, a beam of energy hit the Sentinel's body head-on. The robot, with little reasoning, tried in every way to break free, but without success.
"Increase power by another five percent!" Stark shouted again.
Then the energy beam became more powerful and finally tore a large hole in the Sentinel's body. Stark let go, letting it fall to the ground.
"Well, that was easy."
"I hate to interrupt the celebration, sir, but the woman in armor has recovered and is now heading toward Queen Amora again."
"I knew I forgot something."
After one of his jokes, he flew as fast as he could towards the armored woman, but according to Jarvis's calculations, due to low energy, he wouldn't make it in time.
POV: Third Person.
Near the Triskelion, Theodore Roosevelt Island
Potomac River, Between Washington D.C. and Virginia.
At the Moment of Stark and Banner's Arrival.
When Stark separated and headed towards his target, Jarvis kindly redirected the trajectory of the second armor where Bruce was. Without the AI in control, it would be impossible for him to handle the armor. It didn't take long for them to arrive in front of one of the Helicarriers.
"Is it safe to approach that, Jarvis?" Bruce asks.
The three Helicarriers were then surrounded by a kind of golden bubble that kept them suspended in the air. Bruce wasn't as stubborn as Stark to disbelieve in the possibility of magic, but he was still somewhat skeptical.
"I'm not getting any readings, sir. That energy is somehow blocking me," the AI replied.
"I just wanted to be safe at the Base, also keeping everyone else safe," Bruce muttered to himself.
"Let's move forward, Jarvis."
"Yes, sir."
Since he was here, there was no point in going against the inevitable. Bruce knew that, so a few meters above the Helicarrier where Steve was having trouble, he allowed anger to take over. His consciousness then began to fade, and his body expanded, the Stark armor somehow trying to contain the being's form until his muscles destroyed the armor from the inside out. The remnants of the armor fell from the sky, and now the small man had turned into a muscular green giant.
As the armor was destroyed, so were the thrusters, so Hulk couldn't fly anymore, causing him to fall toward the Helicarrier's deck. And when the green giant crossed the golden bubble surrounding the ship, he felt a shiver run through his body, but it didn't last long.
"BAMMMM!"
It was like a cannon shot hitting its target. Hulk's not-so-subtle landing made the entire Helicarrier tremble, surely attracting the attention of those still alive above him. Somehow, the Queen's magic only affected the Helicarrier and not the people on it.
Since the beginning of this fight, Steve had done everything to stay alive and perhaps defeat his enemy, but he wasn't equipped to deal with these two robots and his friend. When Hulk landed on the Helicarrier, he was already very injured, his old suit practically destroyed, but he still had his shield in hand and the will to fight burning in his eyes.
Seeing Hulk's arrival, he made the smart decision to run toward him. His friend wasn't an idiot, so he didn't follow, but the two Sentinels weren't as clever. In the middle of the way, one of them fired at Steve, who, without looking back, used his shield to defend himself, but the force of the shot launched him forward, making him fall to the ground. The second Sentinel fell from above and stood in front of him, attacking with its hand transformed into a sword, but the robot's head was then grabbed by a huge green hand like a ball.
Hulk then pulled and threw the armor as if it weighed nothing. The robot's body arched in the air and fell backwards to the ground. Hulk went to it and then lifted his huge foot, stomping on its chest.
"BOOM!"
The force was so great that almost the entire robot's body went through the ground. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to destroy the robot. It raised its hand and fired at the green giant's face, catching him off guard and making him recoil. The second robot then came from behind, wanting to thrust its sword hand into Hulk's spine, but its face was hit by Captain's shield, making it lose its target.
When the shield returned to Steve's hand, he felt something grabbing him from behind. When he turned around, he saw Hulk holding him.
"Hulk smash, alone!"
He didn't have time to say anything because Hulk threw him forward like a ball. As he was about to hit the ground, he placed his shield in front of his body to protect himself from the impact. When he got up, he realized he had crossed the entire Helicarrier and was facing the entrance to the central command. Captain America knew that going back now and trying to help Hulk was impossible; he would probably be thrown again, but this time, not so gently. So he decided to continue with his mission and leave the fight up here to his friend.
After nearly killing his ally, Hulk turns his attention to the idiotic robot that cut his arm with a sword. The wound was small due to his resilience, but he was still bleeding green, which only fueled his rage.
"ROOOOOOAR!"
Hulk roared in anger and unleashed a series of punches on the face of the Sentinel in front of him, which had no chance to defend or counterattack. Its metal became more and more dented with each punch.
"RAAAAAARH!"
Hulk's second scream was one of pain; the second Sentinel managed to get up and cut his back, giving the one in front of him time to use its thruster to try to create distance. Unfortunately, Hulk was faster and grabbed its leg, spinning it like a baseball bat, hitting the other Sentinel and sending it flying away. After that, he began to repeatedly slam the one he was holding onto the ground.
"Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!"
After losing count of how many times it was hit on the ground, Hulk stopped and looked at his defeated enemy. Its armor was completely battered, and it had practically lost mobility. Hulk then grabbed it by its neck and torso, pulling it in different directions, splitting the Sentinel in half.
The second Sentinel, from afar, flies toward him and fires energy bursts at Hulk, instead of getting closer, it keeps its distance, giving up close combat. Furious with this, Hulk starts throwing the remains of his comrade at it, and then jumps toward it. However, its mobility in the air was greater, so it simply dodged, making Hulk fall back onto the Helicarrier, even more furious for not being able to reach his target. He began throwing anything nearby, trying to hit his target, which easily dodged everything and kept firing with its repulsor.
Then Hulk finds something that the Sentinel can't dodge: the remains of an almost intact Quinjet, with only one wing missing. The flaming Quinjet then hits the Sentinel squarely, finally causing it to crash to the ground. Before it has time to get up, Hulk steps on its chest, pinning it down. He grabs the robot's head with both hands and pulls it with force, tearing it off.
"Grraurrrrrrr!"
Holding the head of his defeated enemy, Hulk roars for all to hear, celebrating his victory. Afterward, he looks around; unfortunately, there are no enemies nearby. So, the green giant simply leaps toward the Triskelion, where the battle is still ongoing.
