"You gave her the bird to track Sui down. You are putting a lot of trust in that foreign princess. You are also allowing her to take Sui with her. What the hell are you planning?"
Grand Duke Lucius came out of the shadows where he had been hiding all this while.
He had overheard the conversation between the Crown Prince and Princess Yunjin. It had made him suspicious and confident that the crown prince was planning something that could potentially change the course of their kingdom.
Otherwise, he would not have allowed Princess Yunjin to look for Sui this openly.
"I am not planning anything, Lucius. I thought Princess Yunjin looked pitiful, so I decided to help her. It is nothing you need to be concerned about." His voice was firm, but there was a hint of uncertainty that Lucius couldn't ignore.
The Crown prince seemed serious about his claim, but it did little to quell Lucius's worries. He knew what the princess was planning once she found Sui.
