Sui reminded herself, but her heart refused to believe what her brain told her.
There was a tug-of-war between Sui's brain and her mind; the two forces were constantly at war, not giving Sui enough room to breathe.
"Lady Sui, are you feeling alright? Should I call the doctor to check up on you?"
The aide asked as he reached out to take Sui's temperature. But as he neared Sui, she unconsciously pulled herself back and out of his reach.
