Everyone quickly stepped back from around the Grand Duke when they saw his happy mood.
Sui felt that this man was half-joking and half-serious when he made this joke (more severe than jesting), and he would have done something drastic if Sui had refused him.
"How soon can we reach my brother? It should not take long since this is a peaceful region, right?"
Sui looked at the Grand Duke for confirmation, but the man quickly looked away from her with a funny look.
"Yeah, about that! We still have a few more days of travelling left to do. I asked your brother where he was, and he said he could not leave the capital. So, we will need to travel all the way there."
Grand Duke Lucius defended his words and tried to make light of the situation. But Sui did not buy what he said.
Even the Grand Duke understood that Sui was not buying all his excuses.
