Sui felt startled at the sudden offer, and her vermouth ran dry. She did not know what to say to the grand Duke's offer.
This question caught Sui off guard, and she did the only thing a person in her position could do - she answered the Grand Duke's question with a question.

Sui complained as she put her hand on her face to hide her shyness.
