"Drane Duke, what are you planning on doing next? I-I know you did not leave that guard with the princess without a reason. So please, tell me what you are planning."
The aide asked, huffing as he did his best to catch up with the Grand Duke.
He was confident that the Grand Duke was planning something and wanted to get to the bottom.
"Oh! So, your instincts are blazing with a need to know what I'm planning now, okay? I'm just wondering if you're sure. Wasn't your motto to remain quiet as a mouse and ignore anything troublesome? That was why I chose you to bring along."
The aide gasped out in agitation as soon as he heard those words.
He knew that he had not been chosen because of his abilities, but hearing the truth sucked even more.
'To think that the Grand Duke chose me because I did not like to ask questions and was quiet. I should feel honoured, but I feel weird and annoyed.'
