A small concubine palace was situated in the farthest corners of the Imperial Harem. It had only a handful of maids and no support system.
So, no one paid attention to the lady who lived there or what went on there.
But one day, news broke of the Concubine's father rushing toward the palace to visit her. The sudden visit surprised everyone and attracted their attention.
While everyone wanted to know what happened, the story inside the palace was different.
The concubine who managed this palace looked pale and lifeless as she faced her father. She knew that her situation could have been better.
