Sui followed the head guard out of the Alex estate gates.
The outside streets were eerily deserted, with not a soul in sight. Sui's heart ached with worry, wondering if the lady she had aided had reached her destination safely.
"I'm sorry, but I'm asking you to come with me now. We need your help now. I assure you that I will find a way to repay you for your efforts."
The head guard sounded tired and overworked. He also looked to be the person others looked at to get answers.
Sui sympathised with this man but still did not like how he tugged her around.
"I will come with you, but just let me message Princess Yunjin. I want to tell her I am fine, and she should not worry about me."
The guard looked taken aback by Sui's request and looked ready to tell Sui that there was no need to do that.
But thinking back at it again, the head guard realised it might be a good idea if Princess Yunjin was informed of what was happening to her guard.
