The sudden shifting of the tree caused Sui to back off and observe the moving tree.
It did not move because of the wind or external factors. Sui also did not feel the presence of another being in the space around her.
"I must be going mad. Now, I am beginning to think that the tree is alive and coming after me. I need to take my mind off my situation. I am sure all this is happening because I overthink."
The green was beginning to fade away from around Sui, and the trees bore flowers now.
However, the feeling of someone looking at Sui did not go away even as she tried to ignore everyone and everything else around her.
Since the tree did not try to touch Sui again, Sui began to calm once more.
That was why she noticed when someone snuck up behind her, touched Sui's mouth, and pulled her back.
"Muff-"
Sui struggled to get out of the hold, but the thing tugging Sui back did not feel humanoid.
