Sui sucked in a sharp breath while barely being able to avoid the demon attack.
It was a testament to her stamina to hold on for this long. But she could feel her reservoirs slowly draining the longer she avoided the demon.
The demon seemed temperamental, and it seemed to get tired of seeing Sui dodge all the time.
After she dodged a few times, Sui landed on a thin tree branch, but it was too fragile to support her weight.
It began to crack under her weight, causing Sui to fall from that height.
She could have landed on her feet and continued the combo, but her legs spasmed in exhaustion.
Thankfully, there was a bush beneath her body that broke Sui's fall, and her neck did not break.
That did not eliminate the danger of the demon looming over her body.
