Dimitry looked nervous as he stood before the Duke, and he shuffled his feet to show it. Dimitry's actions were hyper-ticking, which also made the Duke feel worried.
He had never seen Dimitry this hyper-fixated and distracted at the same time.
"Dimitry, is there anything you want to tell me? You look distracted and also a little nervous. I don't think I've seen you like this before."
Victor looked at the man in front of him with a calm expression. He hoped that it was enough to make Dimitry relax in his company.
But that did not have much of an impact on the young man.
It made him even more nervous, and he seemed to have trouble saying what he wanted.
Ultimately, he did say what he meant to, but his words were very different from what Duke Victor expected.
