Lady Misha's words were comforting, and she placed a hand on Sui's shoulder to assure her they were still friends. That did little to convey her feelings to Sui.
Sui wanted to relax and enjoy being with a friend, but there was something weird about Lady Misha's hand moving across her shoulder and dipping toward her back.
It felt a little…intimate to be done between friends.
'Lady Misha does not mean anything by these touches…. probably. I can tell that she lacks social interaction with people. I need to tell her what is accepted touch and what is not.'
Sui bit her lip as she leaned forward, away from Lady Misha's touch.
But that stubborn hand and that gaze continued to follow her until Lady Misha's hand was back on Sui's shoulder blade.
Ultimately, Sui decided to rip the band-aid off and stand up. That caused Lady Misha to drop her hand with a reluctant smile.
