The whole household held their breaths as they watched the Imperial Princess pass their threshold.
But as soon as she was inside and out of their eyes, the calm and friendly expression on Mistress Alex's face turned into rage, and she stomped her feet on the ground hard.
"That bitch! How dare she come here and order us around? Who does she think she is? I just want to kill her with my bare hands. Ugh, that audacity!"
Mistress Alex had difficulty controlling her temper but could no longer suppress it.
Ever since her husband died ten years ago, she has become the one to run everything. She had even forced his husband's other wife to live as if she never existed.
