Emboldened by his success with vocal comedy, Dave was ready for whatever challenge the GCS threw his way. He didn't have to wait long.
"Improvisation is the soul of comedy," the GCS declared. "Today, you will engage in an improvised comedic exchange with someone. Let the conversation flow naturally, but keep the humor coming. This will test your wit and your ability to think on your feet."
The challenge seemed daunting, but Dave had learned to trust in his growing comedic skills. During lunch, he sat with Bob and Lily, and what started as a casual conversation quickly turned into an impromptu comedy session. Dave found himself riffing off their comments, spinning mundane topics into absurdities, and weaving in callbacks to earlier jokes. The laughter was constant, and the exhilaration of keeping the comedic ball rolling was unlike anything Dave had experienced.
