The hunter, weakened by the Wendigo's poison, gathers his last strength to remind the heroes of the promise they made. He begs them not to worry about the gold, but to please find someone to keep the swamp in check after his departure. With a sigh of relief, he watches as the soldiers commit to taking care of that matter, promising to seek someone to continue his legacy.
With sorrow in their hearts, the heroes promise to fulfill the hunter's last wish and accompany him as he bids farewell to this world. The soldiers, in an act of respect and gratitude, take charge of burying the hunter as he deserves, honoring his sacrifice and bravery in battle.
With heavy hearts but renewed determination, the heroes set off to the north, leaving behind the swamp and their brave guide. As they progress, the landscape changes, and soon they find themselves facing the imposing stone walls that protect the dwarven kingdom of Forjgris. The walls stand tall as eternal guardians, reminding them of the strength and determination of those who built them.
Upon reaching the towering walls of Forjgris, the heroes are greeted by a heartbreaking scene. A long line of races of all kinds stretches out in front of the walls, desperately seeking refuge in the dwarven kingdom. Stories of destruction and chaos caused by the commanders of the Demon King have forced many creatures to flee in search of safety and protection.
As the heroes observe the moving scene, their gazes turn upwards, where a thief slides with astonishing agility along the gigantic walls. Transformed into a giant fox, the thief seems to have found a way to bypass Forjgris's security, carrying with him the medallion they have been searching for.
