Chapter 125 - A preview of an island and a “magnet”.

The next day, with our parents' return, we all decided to go out for a family lunch.

At that moment, I used Kai Kai to teleport us inside the school, and within seconds, two groups appeared.

One emerged from a portal, led by Blink and Iceman.

The other, carrying a faint scent of sulfur, was my little brother, who ended up falling to the ground.

"It seems that both of your spatial sensitivity has improved. Especially you, congratulations, brother."

I spoke with a smile.

Blink, realizing it was indeed me, smiled calmly but did not return to the portal. Her gaze was fixed on my mother, showing deep admiration, as if looking at an idol or a teacher.

My brother, recognizing me, ran over and hugged me tightly.

"Big brother!!"

I hugged him back while my Haki and divine eyes scanned the surroundings, sensing the presence of various mutants, including Scott and the mysterious Jean Grey. Her presence felt even more unusual to me, especially since the ancient divine flame within my body seemed to react more strongly to any strange energy inside her.

I was truly intrigued by the idea of investigating her further, but I also sensed danger. The power within my soul seemed to warn me against interfering with her. Since she wasn't involved with me for now, I decided to let it be.

"Cough, cough."

My parents coughed, drawing my brother's attention.

"Oh, my son ignores his mother and only focuses on his brother."

"Indeed, what a shame. I'm the one who took him to amusement parks and bought him toys."

Both of them pretended to be disappointed, but neither my brother nor I cared.

He jumped up and hugged them both at the same time, his tail moving quickly and excitedly.

"Mom, Dad!! I missed you so much!! Did you come to see me?"

He spoke with such excitement that it made my parents feel a bit guilty. After all, despite talking to him remotely, they had been away for over a month.

"Yes, son. Today, we're going out for lunch. Do you like the idea?"

My father asked, and my brother eagerly nodded.

This made my parents hold him tighter and plant small kisses on his forehead. His bluish tail kept moving happily.

"Well, your mother and I need to talk to some friends for a bit. Can you stay with your brother?"

"Of course!!"

"Come on, brother! Let's take a walk around campus!"

I smiled and nodded as he pulled me along. I glanced at my parents but said nothing.

Just as I carry out certain missions and activities without their help, it's natural for them to do the same. But they know they can always count on me.

Blink and Iceman led my parents into the mansion.

Third-Person POV – Inside the Mansion

A woman with black hair and slightly yellow eyes appeared in a meeting room, accompanied by a muscular man who radiated an aura of protection and strength.

Behind them, a handsome man with slightly blonde hair and a cold aura, along with a young woman, entered.

Inside the room were a few individuals: a woman with black-and-white hair, a blue-furred man resembling a great beast, and a man in a wheelchair.

"Sister, brother-in-law. You're back!!" The woman, known as Ororo, stood up and hugged them.

"It's good to see everyone. Hank, Professor." The woman greeted them, and soon, the two took their seats.

The man did not seem too focused and allowed his wife to lead the conversation, appearing to be there more for support.

"Alright, getting straight to the point… how is Brother Erik— I mean, Magneto?"

The Professor smiled slightly at Niph's question and let out a sigh.

"We are gathering information. The mutant brotherhood he founded is still active in various places, helping mutants gain freedom. However, they don't seem to be causing widespread chaos and destruction that harms society as a whole—only targeting specific groups."

Niph nodded, waiting for him to continue.

"I know you both have other matters to deal with and just returned, but later, I will ask you to take on a few tasks, in addition to the usual missions we request—investigating and assisting groups of mutants."

The Professor paused for a moment before adding:

"In fact, there are two matters. One involves the existence of a mysterious island in the Pacific Ocean. We don't know much about it yet, and we are still investigating. Therefore, this will be addressed later. However, it seems that Magneto has also taken an interest in it."

"Setting that aside, we recently discovered a rather curious organization. Initially, we believed it to be an anti-mutant group, but one of our members recently encountered a powerful telepath who appears to have the ability to transform her body into some type of crystal or diamond."

"This organization seems to have existed for several decades."

The Professor's statement intrigued the two newcomers, and Niph asked:

"Do you have any information on their plans or objectives?"

Hank was the one to respond.

"Actually, no. They seem to be helping mutants in some way… but their actions are proving to be even more radical and revolutionary than Magneto's Brotherhood."

Ororo continued:

"That's why we need your help, sister. Your ability to manipulate light and darkness makes you highly skilled in stealth operations. Your husband also has talents in that regard… of course, the boy is even better, but I'll leave that decision to you."

She was clearly referring to the young man who had arrived with them at the mansion. Both looked at each other and made a decision.

"I will take action for now. If I notice anything, I will ask for assistance from you, my husband, or my son."

The woman spoke, recalling her son's abilities. She still had some reservations about relying on him for everything. Of course, she knew that her son was much more versatile than she was and strong enough to take care of himself, but she still had her personal boundaries regarding the matter.

After that, they continued discussing various topics and making arrangements for their plans.

MC POV

After my parents finished their conversation inside the mansion, I teleported us back home. Shortly after, we got into a car and headed to an Italian restaurant.

The restaurant was decorated in a classic old Italian style. The walls had a warm beige tone with exposed bricks that added a charming touch, and a few beautiful plants enhanced the cozy atmosphere. There were also glass jars filled with different types of pasta, used as decorative elements throughout the space.

The tables were adorned with candles and covered with elegant, charming tablecloths. The entire place had the feel of a quaint and enchanting old Italian restaurant.

Once seated, I ordered a pasta dish with fried shrimp and a lemon sauce, along with a green apple Italian soda—one of my favorite drinks when dining out.

As we ate, I suddenly sensed an unusual presence entering the restaurant. Instinctively, my eyes shifted toward the new visitors.
