Chapter 80 - The mirror dimension.

The previous alien leapt forward with much more strength and vigor, bypassing every obstacle until it collided with a large lizard that seemed to be trying to escape the pet store. The lizard let out a surprised sound, but its body was quickly engulfed by Vitrir , who emanated a strange, reddish-black energy.

The creature transformed, growing larger, until it was the size of a small bull, its body covered in the alien's black substance. The energy radiating from it was so intense that even Peter could see it physically.

"Lo-, Immortal, I can see some strange energy emanating from it... is this the same feeling I had before?"

Intrigued, I looked at him. "You felt it? What exactly?"

"I didn't see anything specifically… but my spider-sense went off, alerting me to something in that spot… it felt like strange energy," he said. I nodded, understanding that his spider-sense, a rare and incredibly powerful spiritual ability, had enormous potential and utility, even though it was somewhat uncontrollable for him.

"I don't know exactly what it is... but it must be some kind of spiritual entity or demon. Either way, we'll have to eliminate both."

I spoke firmly, my gaze cold and locked on the enemy.

"Demons and spirits... alright," Peter accepted, perhaps used to my strange situations, and used his web to climb to the top of a pole, ready for battle.

I advanced lightly toward the large lizard, but my Haki and eyes were alert, and my mental state was on high alert. These two entities were clearly problematic and dangerous; I wouldn't let them escape. The Vitrir creature also looked cautious, its attention seemingly divided.

"Please, give me a bit of your attention. Ice Make: Ice Tiger. Ice Make: Ice Eagle." I positioned my left hand forward and my right at my side, conjuring two large ice constructs. The tiger charged forward with force, and I didn't hesitate to throw sharp, explosive, and electric boomerangs.

During the fight, I noticed differences in the combat patterns: there were more tendrils and physical extensions, along with a powerful physical strength that matched my ice constructs. Besides these attacks, it emitted waves and beams of red energy, and one of them hit Peter. He raised his arms to defend, but the impact made him scream.

"Teleport."

I appeared next to Peter, using my Haki to examine him. I quickly saw his mind had been affected by that energy, but he shook it off thanks to his mental resilience. Nonetheless, it irritated me. I summoned a black wook in my right hand, infused with mental and internal energy, which grew to a large size, ready to crush the creature. But just then, a spatial and dimensional shift enveloped me, Peter, and the monster.

I scanned the area; we were somewhere different yet familiar. The geographic features were the same, but the energy was different. People and objects around us had vanished, as if we were in another dimension.

I felt the presence of two notable beings, whose energies weren't hostile but carried a mystic feel similar to when Loki used magic. They both had powerful mental and soul energies, and they floated on what appeared to be orange constructs of pure energy. My curiosity was piqued, though I quickly refocused on the alien behind us.

"Careful."

One of the mystics warned me just in time to avoid tentacles reaching out. I destroyed them with bioenergy, then i opened a telepathic channel with the two floating men.

"Who are you?"

"We're–"

I quickly inferred, "Sorcerers?"

One of them gave me a strong look, and I continued, "The system told me long ago about beings with powers like gods, legends, aliens, sorcerers, witches, and demons. Given your energy, I'd say you're sorcerers."

"Indeed, we are sorcerers from Kamar-Taj, protectors of Earth and this universe against dimensional and mystical threats."

This intrigued me. I recreated my ice constructs, which attacked alongside Peter, who used webs and brute strength. One of the sorcerers launched energy beams and weapons from their constructs.

"What is that entity?" I asked.

"It's a special mystical entity from another dimension. Normally, it influences the world due to the natural energy that flows from its realm to Earth, but its creatures are not allowed here because of the potential chaos they bring," they replied.

I nodded, understanding. "And where are we now?"

"In the Mirror Dimension—a reflection of the mortal realm, connected to everything in reality."

"Lastly, what's your purpose?"

"To eliminate the dimensional entity. If you help us, we'll aid in capturing or eliminating the alien invader."

"Deal!" I agreed without hesitation; their ability to teleport us effortlessly was a clear sign of their capabilities. So we made a quick plan in mind, to prepared to take action together.

With the strategy I communicated to everyone in mind, Peter moved first. He shot into the air with supporting webs, firing a large number of them at different parts of Vitrir 's body. Although it hadn't been particularly effective before, with Vitrir new fusion or possession, it was even less so. However, Peter's actions served purely as a distraction.

My two ice giants, already badly damaged, tried to restrain him, and I took action next. I teleported above him, bringing my hands together and infusing a large amount of mana into them. With a forward motion, a dark, bluish magic circle appeared beneath the half-Vitrir , half-possessed creature. From this circle, enormous, dense chains of ice emerged, binding his body tightly.

Then, one of the sorcerers made his move. Concentrated and slightly cautious, he formed numerous magical symbols with his hands, finally stopping and saying, "Crimson Bands of Cyttorak."

The previously golden circle turned red, radiating an energy of chaos and destruction, as if invoking a chaotic and destructive dimensional entity. But instead of chaos, beautiful red bands emerged from the circle, wrapping tightly around the creature.

Seeing him restrained, I exchanged a look with the sorcerer, David, and we both prepared to act. Our next plan required special care. David began moving his fingers, forming various symbols and a series of magical mandalas. My task was different. I focused on my Reiatsu technique, and my Soul Energy began to emanate slowly but powerfully.
