Chapter 92 - Becoming a witch.

Standing before these witches, my hands gripped their heads firmly, and, without hesitation or concern, I invaded their minds, using my telepathic powers. Through this, I collected the information I desired—about the witches and their magic. After just over two minutes, I lowered my hands, walked toward the children and the other monitors, and snapped my fingers.

"Snip"

Behind me, flames rose into the sky, glowing with a fiery orange and red more intense than the sun, hotter than the fire gods' own power. Their bodies, minds, and souls were reduced to nothing. As the flames receded, I took a deep breath; the oppressive power of the runes had demanded far more of my mental and soul energy than usual, leaving me slightly fatigued.

"Sigh…"

"I still need to get stronger... and more diverse in combat forms. The limits of my physical power proved a bit troublesome today, though I did have other options."

Unfazed, I sat down on a small dead tree and processed the information I had gathered. Information about the witches: their magical style, the use of runes, enchantments, curses, witch covens, rarity, magical talent, and more.

"As expected, it's similar yet distinct from sorcerers—their talent seems more critical. They start by using internal energy and Earth's natural forces, but the more powerful or specialized ones draw on other dimensions. Besides, their magic style and focus seem different from what I've understood about sorcerers. And, as I expected, they appear to be dark witches using malevolent forces, though some are classified as good... interesting."

I spoke my thoughts aloud, then simply waited for the others to wake up.

### Third POV

In a very special realm.

This kingdom was surrounded by miasma, bones, undead bodies, and even what appeared to be souls. Inside this realm, a woman dressed in black and green sat on a throne, delicately moving her fingers as though gathering and storing souls. Occasionally, she used knives or other implements to wound specific souls.

At that moment, she paused, her gaze piercing across the universe, seemingly locating a particular Earthly region. But something—someone, or some power—seemed to block her.

**"Earth always causing trouble... but I distinctly felt the absence of two souls who should have died. Why does Earth have to be so complicated? Tsk… I'll have to address this later."**

She looked to one side, and a bolt of lightning appeared, transforming her seemingly human face into a skeletal visage—terrifying to behold. Her aura was especially dreadful yet felt so natural it would intrigue any who encountered it. Knives scattered on the floor, and distant screams echoed.

### Main Character POV

In my room, I took a deep breath and received a system mission.

****

As soon as the notification appeared, a unique magical energy manifested around me. It wasn't powerful or oppressive; rather, it felt natural, calm, as if it belonged to this world. With a magical, fantastical glow, it slowly surrounded my mind and soul, strengthening them slightly. A new attribute and nature began to integrate with them. In response, the flame and lineage of my soul reacted, absorbing the powers into my mental sea. They began not only to accept the new properties but seemed to enhance their own properties and talents with great strength. A bit of knowledge embedded itself into my mind.

A few seconds later, I opened my eyes.

It was intriguing; for someone as sensitive as I am, I could now perceive new aspects of the world, new energies, and peculiarities.

**"Truly magical."**

I said aloud. Some knowledge had entered my mind, though much would require practice, study, and training. Over 25 books were now stored in my inventory, each containing wisdom I could dive into. Fortunately, the foundational knowledge I received to become a witch (in HP terms) emphasized the importance of talent and a strong mind and soul, as well as perceptive abilities and energy control—traits I already possessed.

Additionally, precise gestures and proper pronunciation were essential. My martial arts training, especially with the unique precision of the Zoldyck assassins, had prepared me well. Years of practice in tuning my voice had given me control over my vocal cords and sound usage, which would undoubtedly be advantageous.

**"Before entering the movie, let's examine the wand."**

Along with the wand came a small leather holder that I could wear discreetly under my cloak, making it easier to retrieve in combat. I removed the wand, admiring its vivid, unique color: wood streaked with gold, seemingly precious and alive, with tips resembling a multicolored gem like a rainbow. At its center lay a stone with vivid green and red hues that gave a unique sensation of power. Most importantly, I felt a deep sense of harmony and connection with it; the wand resonated with my very essence, my soul, and my being.

**"I don't recall this wand from the movies or books…"**

As if answering my curiosity, the system provided a message:

****

I didn't quite understand the last remark but decided to ignore it. I lifted the wand and moved it carefully.

"Lumos."

A light appeared above me, formed by anchoring my soul and manipulating the world's energy. I smiled slightly, deciding I'd need to dedicate part of my daily cultivation room time to studying and practicing spells. After all, the more I studied, learned, and improved, the more books the system would grant me. Besides, magic itself was quite useful.

"For now, let's watch the movie. Open session."

As I said this, my body was enveloped in a layer of energy that seemed to construct a kind of virtual reality interface, and my soul was transported elsewhere.

## 🗒️ Answer

When my senses returned to me, I seemed to be in an old version of London. Out of nowhere, a man appeared. After arriving, he used some sort of unique lantern, and silently, carefully, all the street lamps went dark. He walked softly toward a house.

"Professor McGonagall. I didn't expect to see you here," he said, addressing a small cat beside him, which transformed into a woman in an instant.

"The famous Animagus… obtaining the potion and undergoing the ritual might be interesting in the future… although, since there aren't any alchemy or potion books provided by the system, it's probably best just to buy one. I'm not that interested anyway," I murmured, continuing to watch the scene from the movie.

About two days passed. I was sitting in my room, wand in hand. I waved it and organized all the sheets and furniture in the house. With literal magic, items flew and arranged themselves. I trained quite intensely in the cultivation room. Although I was given just one year, I managed to fit in about ten months of focused study and practice within those two days—reading, testing, training, and even dueling other wizards as part of some exercises.

For theory, I could read, memorize, and understand the books with ease, thanks to my strong mental power and keen eyesight, which enhanced all my cognitive and analytical abilities.

After organizing everything and using a few cleaning spells, I went down to the kitchen. Along with the minions, I intended to cook a beef and rice stew. My wand moved in the air, as did my fingers, and the kitchen arranged itself. Pots floated, as did utensils and ingredients. A knife appeared in my hand, and I began chopping vegetables. Of course, I felt four eyes on me, two of them with a strong focus.

The minions glanced over occasionally, always intrigued and fascinated, and the other two belonged to my brother and my boyfriend.

"I still can't believe it… despite my love. It's always been unique and magical, but this scene truly feels like something out of a fairy tale," my boyfriend remarked.

"Yes!!! My brother is the best!! He always comes up with more things, stronger and more capable," my brother exclaimed.

"Stop standing around and come help too!" I said, although it wasn't really necessary. Honestly, I don't want to use magic for every situation, but I do want to practice. Plus, it's fun.
