Chapter 53 - Little crows fly away from home.

I stood again in front of the hammer, even closer than before, and without hesitation, I enveloped it with my Haki of vision, and eyes invaded the hammer. This time, I also used the ancient power of domination, something I hadn't managed before, to support it. The strong mental energy allowed me to invade the hammer, and as soon as I did, the energies, which I could now differentiate, attacked me again. A total of three energies: magical energy, thunder energy, and probably divine energy, came to attack me.

However, unlike the previous time, a scream of an ancient primordial beast came from my mind and strengthened my mental power. The strong concentrated mental energy in my eyes became sharp and empowered by the aura of the divine beast and the power of domination. I shattered the three energies that tried to attack my mind and soul.

Unfortunately, it didn't seem to be over because, at that moment, I felt something strange in the environmental and natural energy around me. I sensed this due to my Haki of vision and the power of the sound of the wind that transmitted strange and abnormal winds to me. Realizing what was going to happen, I silently but discreetly made my Wook appear in my hand.

A second later, as I expected, several lightning bolts fell from the sky towards me. The entire environment was blinded for a second, and I took advantage of this chance and threw the Wook into the sky, strengthening it with internal energy and my mental power.

The weapon flew into the sky, facing upwards, it battled against all the lightning bolts without difficulty and absorbed them completely. No matter how strong this hammer is, one that has no one's will and is acting on a command left in it cannot compare to my Wook, which operates under my active command and with the support of the artifact's spirit. When the lightning stopped and the light returned, my Wook had already returned to the inscription form on my wrist and soon became invisible to everyone as I was no longer actively using it. The action was quick and ensured that nothing was noticed by anyone, of course, I had to ask Anturian to ensure the other part just for safety.

With that done, I focused on the hammer, my Eyes of Gods and Haki observed more precisely the runic letters and words, and I noticed something. They were all written in Asgardian. The book I recently received... the system is so direct and consistent sometimes...

Even though I couldn't understand everything that was inscribed on the hammer, I managed to read a specific phrase that surrounded the magical inscriptions, and with it, plus the fact that it was written in Asgardian and some information from the system, I could confirm what I was thinking.

Coming to this conclusion and to avoid the possibility of anyone else acting on it, I left the hammer behind and walked towards my father with a slight smile. My father seemed tense, but seeing me well, he relaxed.

"Mr. Gabriel, can we go to a room to talk, just you and me?"

He agreed, and after confirming with a nearby employee the location of a room, the two of us went there.

3 POV

Alternative Dimension,

In a golden palace, an old man was sitting in his chair wearing elegant and beautiful clothing. He had his eyes closed and held his staff peacefully. This individual emanated an aura of a divine king, of high wisdom, with a power so great and clearly above mortal realms. At the moment, he seemed to be reflecting and thinking about events and policies while his voice could be lightly heard.

"The Frost Giants... will do something soon... and my sleep is approaching... with my son away, only that other child can help me." The king sighed.

The King seemed to continue thinking about possibilities and ways to act, but at that moment, his closed eyes opened, and he stood up surprised and curious.

"Someone interfered with the hammer..."

He spoke and connected with the magic and the faint trace of consciousness left in the weapon found on Earth.

His fingers pointed forward, and an ancient magical language appeared in front of him, forming something like a screen that showed the hammer's position.

The King observed the image.

"It still seems to be in the position I left it, but undoubtedly, I felt the defensive magic being broken and invaded. However, the person who did this doesn't seem to have decided to take the hammer... it shouldn't be a sorcerer from Earth, at least not someone under the Ancient One's supervision."

The king sighed and struck his staff on the ground, releasing more of his personal power and that of his staff, seeming to try to re-establish some of the hammer's defensive measures.

After finishing this, the King seemed even more tired.

"Sleep is approaching... Hugin, Munin. My ravens, go and ensure the hammer's security... of course, still prioritize observing the Frost Giants, be my eyes and protect our kingdom."

As soon as he finished speaking, he struck the staff hard next to the throne, activating the palace's power, and what followed was that his eyes closed as if he had fallen asleep.

After that, the sound of ravens flying through the kingdom was heard. Two giant birds transformed and began to move towards a bridge at the end of this realm, one seeming to head to Earth and the other to a dimension made of pure ice.

MC POV

We were inside a small room. My father and I sat in armchairs, and I had my eyes closed. My Haki and eyes had already checked for the possibility of cameras, bugs, or people, and my small bees were around the room trying to find anyone who might be coming or eavesdropping. Shady was also sent to check and scout the area for extra security.

"So, son, is everything okay?"

"The place is clean."

I confirmed with my father, and as soon as he received my confirmation, he followed up with another question.

"So, what did you discover about the hammer?"

Hearing his question, I gathered the information and organized my mind. When I arrived in this world, the system gave me a general overview of it, saying it was a world as large as DC, with the presence of people with powers, aliens, technologies, devils, monsters and mythical beasts, sorcerers, witches, and... gods and powerful and superior entities, as well as myths.

Runic words written in Asgardian, a language the book identified as the same language of the Norse gods, even though the book belonged to the game God of War (version of an existing reality), the system informed that it was a real language, the same used in that dimension.

Magical energy, thunder, and divine energy... a hammer... Asgard... Norse gods... and a repeated phrase on the hammer: "Whosoever holds this hammer, if they be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor."

"The hammer belongs to those beings I once mentioned to you and mom, to a god, and if I'm right... to the Norse god, Thor."

When I said that, I saw my father's face turn pale, his eyes darken, and his body almost collapse. I quickly moved and supported him. I was so shocked by a situation I never expected that I didn't notice the murmur that came from his mouth.

"At least it's not that group... but the Norse... it's still concerning..."

"Dad? Are you okay? What happened?"

I looked at him and covered my father's body with Haki and used the power of my eyes. As I did that, I paused for a moment because I noticed even more than before the strangeness of his body, but I didn't ask or focus on it for now and checked if he was okay.

My father seemed to recover quickly and held my hand firmly.

"I am fine, son."

After seeing that he was stable, I leaned him back and stayed by his side for a moment. I don't know exactly what more secrets my father has, but I've always known that my mother and father have complicated secrets and pasts.

We began discussing that since it is a Norse god and belongs to someone from outside this planet, he would subtly inform SHIELD and look for someone specializedin the Norse mythology or in physics.

With everything settled, my father went to resolve some things he needed, and I returned to the hotel to sleep. Tomorrow I plan to walk around the city and try to find what or who might be related to the hammer. The problem is if I encounter Thor himself, especially if the situation is hostile. After all, I don't know to what extent I have the power to compare with a being of that scale, at least in my current state.

"Anyway, I can always escape with the Kai Kai in case of excessive danger..."

I murmured and wrapped myself in the hotel room's blanket, holding a cute plush wolf.

Unbeknownst to me, a strange and abnormal raven flew into the establishment I was in, unnoticed by anyone and any technology. This raven, with a strange bright look, seemed to be searching for something or someone.
