Sensing the danger, I saw him transform his body into a misty form to evade my attacks. However, as he materialized, he spat a small amount of blood.
After all, my sword's energy wasn't a physical attack but rather an immaterial energy strike, even with traces of soul elements.
His eyes now showed even more fear and hatred toward me.
Paying him no mind, I drew my staff with my left hand and fired several shots of pure energy, aiming to test him. Additionally, I planted my sword into the ground and hurled a few sharp boomerangs with great precision.
He possessed enhanced speed and senses, which allowed him to dodge and defend against the attacks without much difficulty. However, one of the boomerangs still pierced his body, and the attacks caused minor damage.
The enemy seemed to notice I was testing him and became visibly irritated. I felt his gaze lock onto mine, and soon, a mental force infiltrated my mental sea. It seemed to be an illusion or mind control power.
Upon sensing it, I froze for 0.1 seconds.
My ocular lineage quickly destroyed the mental power, which wasn't particularly strong. However, I remained still.
The vampire seemed to assume his power had worked and flew toward me. When he was close enough, I smiled beneath my mask.
My ancient mental domination power crushed his body, preventing him from moving. I snapped both my fingers, forming two spears of light: one in the sky and another in my right hand.
The spear formed in the air pierced his shoulder, eliciting a scream of pain. My eyes observed his vampiric blood burning in the air due to the intense power of the light, which opposed the nature of his kind.
The immobilization caused by the spear of light, combined with my mental power, left him unable to move. Positioned in front of him, I moved with high speed, strength, and combat skill. Without hesitation, I sliced his body in half.
The light energy from the spear, still inside his body, exploded like a morning bloom, reducing him to ashes.
With one less enemy, I turned my attention to Pete's fight. My boyfriend's combat abilities, along with the help of my ice eagle, allowed him to fight with the upper hand.
Seeing this, I decided not to interfere for now. I retrieved my wand, intending to cast spells at the right moment to capture the remaining foe.
While waiting, I gently touched a bee that landed on my finger. My eyes had already identified the presence of a third being who had recently arrived.
My bees sent me images of him: an unusual man carrying large blades and numerous concealed weapons. He was a tall, dark-skinned man wearing sunglasses, with an aura similar to but distinct from that of the vampires.
Part of him seemed human, while another part appeared stronger than the vampires I was currently fighting.
Since he wasn't engaging or approaching, I left him alone but kept my bees monitoring him, with my Haki and eyes focused on that area.
To monitor him for any unusual movements.
...
A few minutes later, I saw the vampire fall into deep despair and heavily injured, seemingly searching for a way out.
I seized the moment and teleported behind him.
"Brochiambro."
With a high amount of dimensional mystical energy, strong, invisible ropes formed around his body.
After that, I didn't slow down and cast several other binding spells. They weren't particularly effective, but they should suffice.
After casting the spells, I smiled at my boyfriend.
He understood my look and, using his physical strength—superior to mine, at least without Qi—delivered a powerful blow to the vampire's neck, followed by wrapping him in gigantic nets.
The moment he was restrained, the shadow of the man who had been hiding began moving toward us.
I sensed it immediately, and Pete's instincts alerted him within 0.5 seconds.
We exchanged a glance and focused our attention on that area.
Emerging from the shadows was a tall man dressed in a long gray coat, wearing sunglasses and armed with both melee and other dangerous, lethal weapons.
He was very tall and carried an aura of strength and menace, with traces of serenity and duty but also hints of hidden resentment and vengeance.
"Who are you? And what do you want?" I asked calmly and indifferently.
Although I sensed the danger he posed, it seemed manageable. Still, I stayed alert in case it became necessary to create chaos and retreat with Pete.
"Well, I'd like to ask that question first, but I'll introduce myself," he said.
"I go by the name Blade. A special kind of 'vampire' who hunts other vampires."
He spoke calmly, his sharp gaze shifting between me and Spider-Man, though I could tell his focus was mostly on me.
"I'm the Immortal. A vigilante."
"And I'm Spider-Man, your friendly neighborhood hero."
After we introduced ourselves, I continued the conversation.
"As you can see, we've had to either restrain or eliminate the enemies, considering they've been killing people at will. Since you're supposedly a vampire hunter, are you here to deal with them?" I asked.
"Yes… a few years ago, Dracula was eliminated and contained. Now, there are attempts to bring him back to life. My investigation points to something in New York, but I don't know where exactly," he replied.
Hearing this, I grew intrigued and pondered. Given the vampires' methods and the act of resurrection, it couldn't be an easy process, much less one without a cost.
Sensing my understanding, he continued.
"As you might imagine, reviving Dracula would likely involve black magic and the sacrifice of numerous lives."
Hearing his statement, I frowned, while Pete beside me seemed worried about what to do and the potential danger to innocent people.
I frowned and turned my gaze toward the vampire. With light steps, I approached him, ignoring Blade.
My actions intrigued him, but he said nothing for the moment.
I placed my hand above the vampire's head.
A unique power invaded his mind, and my mental sea roared.
The eyes within my mental sea vibrated with power, and the divine turtle made a slight movement with its paw.
Effortlessly, I delved into his memories and sought the information I needed. The individual seemed to have lived for over a century, so I tried to filter out the most important or fundamental parts.
Soon, images of a gathering of vampires began to emerge, along with what appeared to be ashes and a skeleton at the center of the hall.
Red liquid seemed to be stored in various parts of the place, and a magical energy reminiscent of the witches I had encountered in the past—though somewhat different—surrounded certain objects and areas of the room.
