Bel slightly lost her balance as she stood up but quickly regained it by using the bed for support. Davien paused slightly as he noticed her presence, but instead of trying to be modest, he just took an end of the towel around his neck and wiped his hair.
Bel turned around, giving him her back. "Normal people step out of the bathroom with a towel around their waist," she scolded.
"Would that be humans?" he asked, taking a step closer. "I am a vampire, last I checked." Why did he sound amused?
"Are you some sort of naturist?" she asked in horror.
"Wouldn't that make us a perfect match because, if I remember correctly, you like to watch."
"You're disgusting," she spat.
"That's a crude thing to say," he said, sighing. "I didn't think you'd be out here." He pulled the towel from his neck and wrapped it around his waist. "Is this better? Not comfortable for you?"
