I returned to my room and placed a pack of ice on my crotch then relaxed in a chair by the window.
"That was a dud, My balls hurt and now I find out that Princess Petra isn't the one who sent those bandits to attack her sister," I muttered.
My investigation in Petra has come to a close, she's too prideful and values her status as princes, she wouldn't stoop so low. I think the reason why she goes to that brothel is because she loves the attention, she loves seeing men falling at her feet and worshipping her. She's there for the thrill as well as entertainment and not for pleasure.
"If the princess holds enough grudge to try and kill her sister then who else could be the target," Bunny wondered.
"As far as I can tell Petra is or was the lead suspect and now there is not anyone who would hold a grudge against Elizabeth. Perhaps it's someone who's outside the palace, like an admirer who loves her but is jealous because he can't have her, all evidence leads me to believe that," I pondered. "Or perhaps the culprit wants me to think that."
I'll have to keep a closer eye and the people who are around Princess Elizabeth, one of them has to be the target.
Oh man, my junk are throbbing. I can't even think straight, who knew a dainty princess would have that kind of leg power and to think she would use my desire as a weapon against me.
"She's definitely a man-killer," I mumbled to myself.
The next day.
"Do I have to wear this?" I queried and looked at the dress Elizabeth gave me.
"Yeah, I've got some more dresses for you, now you don't have to wear the same clothes," she responded.
"You idiot!" I barked as I hand chopped her head. "This isn't ordinary clothes, this armour capable of blocking the blast from a missile."
"Ow, what's a missile?" Elizabeth asked as she rubbed her head.
"You don't want to know, anyways, thanks for the clothes but you don't have to worry, I can't sweat, these clothes can't get dirty and foul either so I'll keep wearing—"
"Unacceptable, no young lady should wear the same clothes for days, as my friend I will correct your error and groom you properly."
Elizabeth snapped her then 20 maids marched in the room and surrounded me. All of them, including the princess, were grinning while looking at me with evil intention.
"I don't like these smiles, what are you going to me?"
"Ladies, dress her," Elizabeth ordered.
"Yes princess."
"No...No, don't come near me...Noooooo!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.
1 hour later.
"Awe, she looks so adorable."
"Like an angel."
"So cute."
My face was bright red as all the maids gazed at me with adoration and love. They all dressed me in a blue dress with white frills, my hair was tied in a ponytail, silver earring, black stockings and blue shoes.
"Master, you look so adorable," Bunny praised.
Be quit you stupid kangaroo!
"Can I take this off?" I pleaded.
"No you can't!" Elizabeth refused.
I weeped to myself.
Suddenly the door opened and Petra walked inside looking upset. The room was silent and the air was tense when she walked in.
"Everyone leave, I want to talk to my sister in private," she ordered.
Without any hesitation the maids left the room, I was the only one who stayed behind because I don't like Petra's attitude right now.
"Didn't you hear me? I said you should leave."
"Now why should I leave because you tell me? Do you think you can get everyone to do what you want, you little princess?" I queried with a smile.
"Why you little—"
"It's okay, Gem, this is a matter between sisters, let me take care of it."
Well since she said that she can handle this then there is no point in me staying here and becoming a third wheel."
I walked away. "Fine, but if there is anything you need, then I'll be outside," I explained.
Luckily I planted an hidden camera in my room. I leaned against the wall outside my room and watched the video on my phone.
"Tell me sister, Is it true that someone tried to kill you?"Petra asked.
"Yes, I believe I've relayed this to the entire family."
"Do you know who would want to kill you?"
"We don't know, this matter is still much under investigation"
Suddenly Petra slapped Elizabeth on the face and it shocked Elizabeth as much as it shocked me.
"You mean I'm the one whom you are currently investigating!"
"What are you talking about elder sist—"
"Don't play stupid! I know you're investing me because you think I'm the suspect."
"Sister I would never do such a thing!"
"...Just stay away from me, I know you think you're special because youre getting married to a prince and you think that you're special but you're not. Keep your noise out of my business, stop investigating me, do that and we will go about our lives."
Petra opened the door, she glared at me, huffed and walked away. A man with short dark green hair was waiting for her and the maids gave me a cold look before she walked away.
What the hell was that looking for?"
I walked inside the room, where I saw Elizabeth by the dresser, powdering her face in order to cover up the slap that she suffered.
"Aren't you going to ask?" She queried.
"I have no right to do so..."
Especially when I'm the one who caused you to be humiliated like this. I should have known that Petra would react like this and take out her angry toward me on Elizabeth.
"...I just want you to know that I'm here for you, not as your protector but as your friend," I reassured her.
"Why are you going to such lengths to protect me? What's your reason?" She questioned.
I glanced at Bunny who shook her head left to right.
"I'm sorry, but I can't reveal the important details right now but what I can tell you is that I don't intend to do you arm, I am here to not only protect you but help you as well—"
Before I could finish she grabbed me and gave me a hug while tears ran from her eyes.
"Thank you, Gem, you're a true friend."
I don't know what to say in this situation but seeing as she would go the extra mile, I guess I can offer her some support.
*Crash*
"Huh?"
I became surprised when an arrow came flying through the window and I grabbed it before it struck Elizabeth in the back. There was someone standing in a tree outside the window looking at us then they became surprised when I saw them.
"Hold it right there!"
I rushed to the window as I opened it and opened my gun in the direction they ran but nobody was there. I used my digital eyes to check but no heat signature was there, it's as if they vanished into thin air.
"They're gone!"
Now the hell they vanished so quickly.
"What wrong Gem?" Elizabeth asked worryingly.
"There was someone outside the window just now but they suddenly vanished," I responded.
Elizabeth covered her mouth in astonishment.
"Sure enough, someone really wants you dead," I muttered as I crushed the arrow in my hand.
After that we went to the throne room where the king and the queen were. I reported to him what happened.
"Are you saying someone made an attempt on my daughters life again?!" the king queried.
"Sure, they made a move themselves, seems like they are pissed or they decided they can't wait any longer," I responded.
"And who do you know that?" A knight standing beside the king queried.
"Because, I'm smarter and stronger than you," I responded.
"How dare you!"
"Enough," Bartel ordered. "Once again I must thank you for saving Elizabeth's life, if it wasn't for your quick reaction, then my daughter would have...Thank you Gemini."
I fold my arms and closed my eyes. "Sure, I only did what I had the strength to do," I responded.
"Your Majesty, If I may ask who this girl is?" The knight standing beside the throne queried.
Looking at him now, he seems really strong, peach coloured hair in a slick back hairstyle, red eyes and a muscular figure clad in armour. I know him, Royal Knight Ford Outland, the strongest Knight in this kingdom and the king's elite knight.
"This is Gemini, she's Elizabeth's friend and the one who saved my daughter's life twice. She's also a Bounty Hunter which makes her very strong," Victoria explained.
"A Bounty Hunter, such a lowly bounty hunter who dares stand in the presence. You should kneel at once," he ordered.
"Sorry but I kneel before no one, not even to the king himself," I responded.
"Such insolence!"
"Gem, is my friend, she has the right to do what she wants and plus, father has given her the expressed permission to act friendly," Elizabeth explained.
Ford looked at the king who gave a nod then Ford fumed.
"I'm sorry your majesty, but I can't overlook this issue. If this child acts so rudely toward the king then I Ford Outland the royal knight shall put her in her place," he drew his sword and pointed it at me. "I shall take this in my own hand by challenging you to a duel."
My first duel since coming to this world.
