A knock came through.
"Bloom, two girls by the name Lucia and Rosie are here, baby would you like to see them?"
Mom spoke through the door, quite aware of my bad temper. On a regular basis, I don't let people visit my home. Because I don't think we are that close to have you visit, well maybe that's why I've been a loner all my life.
It's time to make a change.
"Let them in." I spoke hoarsely, it's clear from my red eyes that I'm sick.
"Bloom!!" Both women ran and hugged me tightly.
If I don't speak, Rosie and Lucia might suffocate me with their hug.
Mom, looked at us, shook her head and left the room, jamming the door behind her.
"We missed you so much, why did you avoid us? Are we that unlovable?" Rosie cried as she kept muttering things.
I chuckled at her words and rubbed her little petite body, that kept burrowing inside my embrace. Rosie just seemed so small compared to my height.
"Why are you too cute?" I commented and she raised her eyes and stared at me blankly.
Lucia kept crying that her nose reddened.
"Bloom, my heart hurts… woo…" Lucia cried intensely leaving me confused for a moment.
I grinned and wiped off her tears and patted her hair. I seem to like rubbing Lucia's hair, they are so silky.
Lucia cried like an abandoned cat, while Rosie remained clingy like a rabbit clinging to a carrot.
The imagery was different in contrast.
"Woo… woo… Bloom, don't avoid us, okay?" Both cried incessantly, I sat them down on my huge bed and they sat there, blinked at me.
I slowly walked to my table and poured them a glass of chilled water.
"Here, you must be dehydrated." Rosie greedily grabbed the best cup.
Lucia snorted and grabbed the other, giving me cutesy eyes.
I rubbed Lucia's hair and she smiled and drank the water gleefully. I suddenly realized that she has side dimples.
"You look cute too, I just realized Lucia." I spoke the words that came to mind.
She stopped hiccuping and withdrew the glass cup from her lips.
"Really?" Lucia seemed enthusiastic all of a sudden.
"I knew you would soon love me!! I'm so happy!!" Her face brightened up like stars.
"You don't love me anymore…woo…woo." Rosie burst crying again.
I sighed once more.
I walked from my standing position and sat in between them.
"I have a confession to make…" I muttered as both glued their eyes onto me.
"Urgh… I don't know how it began, but I have feelings for you both. So need not worry about being unloved." I waited for their reaction and got none.
Okay… I threaded carefully as I didn't want to hurt their feelings.
"Rosie, my heart thumps loudly whenever I am with you and I can't help but control the urge of wanting to kiss you." I didn't feel so complacent on the fact that both women love me, instead I feel that the other might feel ignored.
A tear escaped Rosie's eyes, as she stared blankly at me.
