Throughout the class I dozed off without a care in the world.
'I mean who cares?'
I was very certain that I slept for over an hour or more as soon, I felt a tap on my arm.
The fingers kept hesitating to touch me, I could feel it.
I didn't open my eyes, daring the person to touch me again.
After hesitating, a tiny voice spoke, "Hello, umm… please can you help me?"
I opened my eyes and raised my head sluggishly, standing up and our height difference was clearly visible.
The petite girl in front of me seemed afraid of my aura, she should be 156cm, I guess she might have been scared silly by my height.
Her face was distraught as she lowered her head like a meek lamb.
"What do you want?" My hoarse voice came out more hostile than expected.
"Sorry to bother you… but…" she seemed embarrassed to state her problem and I'm already losing my patience.
I peered into her eyes, waiting for her to speak, unfortunately this girl is a dummy.
Frustrating indeed.
I grabbed my bag pack and walked away from her.
She suddenly ran after me, panic written over her face.
"Do you have a spare pad?" Her voice was tiny as her cheeks flushed in pure embarrassment.
"No." Came my monotone reply.
I made to walk ahead, but this little girl still grabbed my jacket, I could tell she was afraid of me, but still acted either based on bravery or instinct.
"Please, I am stained already. I can't go home like this." She seemed like she would cry any moment from now.
"What's your name?" I asked subconsciously.
"Ah?… Rosie Fernando." She blushed after giving me a confused expression.
"Even though you don't wear glasses like other nerds do, you aren't better than them." I spat harshly.
Her shoulders fell, and I could tell she was hurt, I suddenly felt the need to swallow back my words.
'Urgh, where did I meet this nut case?' I whined in my mind.
"Please…" She finally raised her eyes and gazed into mine, my heart suddenly palpated.
She has golden brown hair, with light green eyes.
A rare eye color, I secretly noted in my heart.
My heart couldn't stop beating.
After our gaze collided for nearly two minutes, she shyly looked away, her pale creamy face reddened.
"Follow me." I said after deliberating further inwardly.
She docilely followed me out of the hall.
