Synopsis
Things are not unfolding the way they should. Someone or something is messing with the very fabric of time itself. Events that were never meant to occur are now happening. People who were destined to die remain alive, while others meant to live now find themselves dead. The natural order has been disrupted. Destinies are being rewritten in ways they were not supposed to. Time itself appears to be malfunctioning, causing ripples that violate the way events were originally fated to play out. The rules that govern what is and isn't possible no longer apply. Reality as it was once understood has been thrown into chaos. P.S. - 1: Chapter names are inspiration from th great manga 'Gintama'. Holy fuck it rhymes =============================================================== P.S. - 2: This is a story that I had in mind for past couple of years but because of many things could never put forward but now I might finish it with you guys. There are few stuff that you should know before jumping into it, for first my inspiration for this book is ASOIAF, Kingkiller Chronicles and Malazan empire. Another thing is there is no thing such as plot armr. Last thing to know is that this is story of whole world, so we will not be following a fixed character but keep changing POV. Each volume will take up to a new place where the story will start from the beginning, for example the first volume will set up a big event which will then be addressed later in second volume near the end, third volume will pick up from somewhere in First volume and join in the big event near the end something like this. The world I have in mind have total of five continents and each of this continent share a different world, so each continent will have a different magic system, different culture, different beliefs, different mindsets of people. Later it will be explained why is that.

Chapter 1 - Prologue

In the dim church, shadows clung to the old walls, as if hiding secret stories. The air smelled old, and a deep silence covered everything. The chairs looked worn, some broken, but others stood strong, silently witnessing time passing by. Up front, where the god's statue usually stood, there was a noticeable emptiness, hinting at something important missing.

The bottom part of the statue had a faint glow, staying clean amid the decay. Next to it, an ancient piece of a spear told a story from a distant time. The broken end of the spear rested in the wall, catching a subtle light.

Someone walked down the aisle, their footsteps echoing in the empty space. The quiet was broken by the distinct sound of a sword at their side. The person moved with purpose, their face hidden in the shadows, keeping their identity a mystery.

They proceeded to the fractured front of the church where the god's statue once stood whole. They gazed at the vacant space briefly, and a palpable tension settled over the church, as if it were holding its breath. The person's hand rested on their sword, silently pledging either protection or forewarning of potential danger.

Surrounded by the echoes of bygone days, the individual in the ancient church felt enveloped in the whispers of history. The absent portion of the god's statue and the aged fragment of the spear wove a narrative from a distant era, decipherable only to the solitary figure.

The enigmatic person reached out and made contact with the statue, erupting into unrestrained laughter. When the laughter subsided, their eyes betrayed a hint of madness. "Looks like someone else found this before I did, huh?" The person spoke to themselves, the words dripping with frustration and anger.

Raising their weapons high above their head, the sword, initially gleaming, intensified in brightness with each passing moment. It grew so luminous that merely gazing upon it seemed capable of delivering a fatal blow. "Consider yourself fortunate that I'll allow them to believe I was the first to discover you," they declared before bringing down the radiant sword. Suddenly, the church, the surrounding field, the nearby town, and even the towns in the distance—all vanished from the earthly realm. Everything within a radius of over a thousand miles disappeared, as if it had never existed, all due to the devastation wrought by the enigmatic individual.

----------------------------

One hour after the mysterious person's departure, a rift started to appear in the space above the devastation. Gradually expanding, the crack widened until it spanned miles. Emerging from it were two formidable and sacred beings, so potent and holy that mortals dared not meet their gaze without permission. However, on this occasion, their mood was far from benevolent. Fueled by anger, one of them delivered a powerful punch to the destructive force that replaced the once-standing church.

The explosion mirrored the one triggered by the mysterious person, its impact extending beyond the confines of the destructive force. In an instant, the space they hovered over crumbled, giving way to the formation of a valley. The two formidable beings seethed with anger; their power too overwhelming for mortals to contend with.

"Quell your rage. We must locate that bastard. They initiated this, and we shall bring it to a close," declared both beings in unison before disappearing through the same portal they had used to arrive.
