The three financial statements are the balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement. The balance sheet shows a company's assets and liabilities. The income statement layouts the revenues and expenses for a specific period. The expenses are subtracted from the gross revenue to show the net income. And finally, the cash flow statement shows the amount of cash that enters and leaves a business.
