"Don't ask questions you don't want the answers to." Kallum's words were haunting. His jaw clenched when he saw her crestfallen expression. Could she look more like a weakness tonight? He had already threatened her. Clearly, she didn't seem to care.
"Don't forget what I warned you about that little necklace of yours," Kallum warned, curling his finger under the paperclip heart.
"Do it then." Roselia didn't care anymore. She'd rather them have nothing over her than to do his bidding forever. She jutted her chin up at him. His glower sliced through her venomously. He wanted her dead just as much as every woman in the room. Except, he was horrible at hiding it. So much for trying to hide his animosity in front of the crowd.
