"Huh? What idol group are you talking about? Isn't this guy a human trafficker?" Innocently, Jun asked Old Mo while pointing at Zhang Hei, and Old Mo immediately laughed after hearing the question.
Meanwhile, Zhang Hei just rolled his eyes lazily, but he was probably too tired to explain. That's why he just leaned his elbow on the armrest of the sofa before using his palm to support his head.
"Zhang is not a human trafficker, but he is the boss of a large company," Old Mo explained. "Have you ever heard of YUANHEI Entertainment? Many celebrities were born from that company, and Zhang is the boss of that company."
Jun widened his eyes in surprise, and he even looked at Zhang Hei in disbelief. As Zhang Hei noticed the disbelief in Jun's eyes, he suddenly looked proud even as he straightened himself, but what he heard next from Jun managed to slap his sanity.
"What is YUANHEI Entertainment? I had never heard of that company before."
Once again, Zhang Hei lazily rolled his eyes, and this time, he even dropped his body onto the sofa, too tired to endure Jun's ridiculousness.
Meanwhile, Old Mo seemed amused by the young man, and he once again chuckled before saying, "You may have never heard of that company, but I wonder if you have heard of Xu Pei Jing? He is the singer of the new hit 'Hello to Hollow,' and somehow I'm sure a young man like you will know it."
Once again, Jun's brown eyes widened at Old Mo's question. "I know Xu Pei Jing, and I'm actually one of his biggest fans!" He eagerly answered the question.
"You dare say that you are one of Xu Pei Jing's biggest fans when you don't even know the company he works for? You must be just a fraud," Zhang Hei lazily criticized Jun.
Although it wasn't very apparent, Jun pursed his lips in annoyance after hearing Zhang Hei's words, and he even angrily replied, "Is his company important? I know everything about him, from his songs to his underwear size, and that should be enough to prove I'm one of his biggest fans, right?"
This time, it was Zhang Hei who was shocked by Jun's boldness, and his eyes even widened uncontrollably. He was different from Mo Lan who once again chuckled after hearing Jun's bluntness.
"If you want to debut him, you have to work harder to train his mouth, Zhang. Being outspoken wasn't bad, but it wouldn't be so great if he worked as an idol. An idol must maintain his image, after all," Mo Lan said, and he directed his words at Zhang Hei this time.
Finally, Zhang Hei straightened his body again before replying, "I only have less than a month before the boygroup will make their official debut, and I will be the one to personally train him until the debut day. You don't need to worry about him."
"Wait," suddenly, Jun chimed in from the side, and Mo Lan and Zhang Hei turned towards him. He then continued, "I never said that I wanted to debut as an idol under your company, so why do you sound so confident about your plans? Besides, I won't let a lazy person like you train me personally."
The words "lazy person" came out so smoothly from Jun's lips, and Zhang Hei was speechless because of it. Once again, Mo Lan laughed lightly after hearing what he said.
"Zhang is not a lazy person at all, Jun," said Mo Lan. "Actually, he has worked hard for his company until it has become so big now. His company is less than a decade old, but he has helped many people realize their dreams. Things like that should be appreciated, right?"
Mo Lan defended Zhang Hei, and Jun ultimately couldn't refute it even though he still didn't fully believe that Zhang Hei was that kind of person.
"By the way, you still remember that this new boy group's debut showcase will be supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, right, Zhang? The people in my office have already started preparing for the event, therefore I hope everything will be on schedule," Mo Lan spoke again, and from his firm tone, it could be seen that he was no longer joking.
Jun seemed confused by the sudden serious conversation, and it seemed like Mo Lan noticed his confused expression. "Ah, I forgot to tell you that I work at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism," he explained to the young man. "I discussed everything about the new boy group with Zhang, and Zhang agreed to use a traditional concept for the boy group. That's why I dared to submit a proposal to my workplace so that the debut showcase could be included in one of the ministry's events."
Finally, Jun's curiosity was answered, and he nodded his head in response to the explanation.
Meanwhile, Zhang Hei immediately responded to what Mo Lan had just said, "You don't need to worry about that. The debut showcase will be on schedule, and a week before the showcase, I will release the pre-release track as well as reveal the members of the group."
Mo Lan shook his head in amusement after hearing what Zhang Hei had just said. "How can you be so sure about that, Zhang?" He asked the long-haired man, but then his gaze shifted to Jun as he continued, "Is it because you have this cute boy with you? Are you sure he will agree to join the boygroup?"
Jun was suddenly included in their conversation once again, but he didn't look happy at all. Unfortunately, when he glanced at Zhang Hei, he could see how the man seemed sure of something, and his gaze was returned as the man answered Mo Lan, "I'm sure this cute boy will be one of the group members. He has no choice, anyway."
Hearing Zhang Hei's confidence, Jun somehow looked annoyed while thinking, 'How can you say I have no choice? This life is mine, so I will always have a choice! I will never join your company and become your puppet!'
