By the end of Li's story, the restaurant was silent and then everyone, including the staff, started clapping. Li stood up and took a bow. They kept clapping even as Li left the stage.

After Li left the stage, Manager Wang took his place and announced that Li would tell another story in the afternoon and finally later in the evening before closing, this news brought more rounds of applause. When the restaurant had become less rowdy, some patrons approached Manager Wang to congratulate him for a job well done. Many of the patrons asked Wang if the storyteller would be entertaining daily or was it was a onetime thing. Wang answered it would be a daily occurrence.

When Manager Wang was done attending to customers and their various questions, he went to the back room where he found a slightly flushed Li. He gave him a smile and told him he had performed very well and his story was perfect. Li was so happy by the compliment, he thanked Manager Wang for the opportunity to serve and make people happy.

Wang was just about to leave when the restaurant's chief account, Wu, ran up to them from the staff room with an account scroll. He looks thrilled and excited. Accountant Wu gave Manager Wang the account scroll for the morning sales. Wang read the scroll and was quite amazed to find that the restaurant had tripled their sales.

Manager Wang was thrilled. He handed the account scroll back to accountant Wu and went back in to the restaurant and into his office which was situated at the extreme left wing of the restaurant. Manager Wang opened the door and went in to his office and sat down on his chair. Shortly after,There was a knock on the door and before he could say come in, the door opened and a very excited Senior Chou walked in. Wang got up and walked up to Senior Chou and offered him a seat. In their efforts to save the business, Manager Wang and Senior Chou had developed a mutual respect for each other and had become like father and son. Before Wang could speak, Senior Chou spoke. He said he used to get reports sent to him from accountant Wu, three times daily.

When he received the reports for the morning sales. He was amazed because in the history of the Chou dynasty; the restaurant had never had that kind of success, so he came to see things for himself.

Wang smiled and told Senior Chou that he had added a storyteller to the list of staff and that the storyteller started work that morning and that attracted a lot of patronage in the morning sales and that he hoped that more people will come to the restaurant subsequently.

Zhang Chou was so happy that he beamed from ear to ear. He stood up from his seat and gave Manager Wang a handshake while praising him for his exceptional skills. Wang Joshi far exceeded his expectations.

Wang Joshi, on his part, also stood up and thanked Senior Chou for giving him the rear opportunity to serve and make a positive difference. But Wang warned Zhang Chou to keep the result a secret for a month. He did not want to give the Chou family false hope with the results he had. Zhang Chou was happy to oblige.

Manager Wang and Senior Chou discussed further the modalities needed to implement the storyteller as a part of the services in all the Chuo Dynasty restaurants. After a while, they left the office and went to the main restaurant where Manager Wang wanted to attend to some special customers, while Zhang Chou went back home. After attending to some special customers and their needs, Wang went back to his office to rest a bit before the afternoon meals. He had also instructed the assistant manager, Leo, to send the cleaner to tidy up one of the comfortable apartments for Li, the storyteller. Since Wang had seen Li,'s excellent performance in the morning, all he wanted was to make the storyteller comfortable and secure his loyalty to the Chuo family. One way was to provide comfortable accommodation within the premises of the Chou Dynasty restaurant so that the storyteller would not have to travel long distance to work each day.

Wang had a soft knock on his office door and Assistant manager Leo entered and told him that the apartment was cleaned and ready for use. Wang got up from his seat and ask the assistant manager to accompany him to the back of the restaurant where the storyteller was preparing for his next presentation. As Li saw them, he stood up, but Wang asked him to sit down. Manager Wang told Li that they had prepared one apartment for him to live in so that he would not travel back and forth each day to work. Wang asked if Li was okay with the arrangement. Li was very pleased. Wang told the assistant-manager Leo to show Li the apartment. Li thanked Wang once again as Leo led him toward the apartment.

As the afternoon meals started, more persons came. Before long, all the seats were occupied. As Li started, everyone went silent. The title of the story was, "The Seen" "The story talked about mystical children given to families that were poor, but had earned the blessings of God because of the love and goodness of their hearts. Those children could bring wealth and good fortune to their parents just by their mere presence. But there was a condition attached to this blessing, that was, provided the children are treated with love and care, and provided they're happy...." In conclusion, Li stressed the need to treat children as gifts from God. When Li finished the story, there was a loud ovation as people started clapping. Li stood up and took a bow.
