The God's Island of Upper Yard, which was half of the Jaya Island that was carried into the sky by the Knock Up Stream, was influenced by the high-altitude environment.
The animals and plants within Upper Yard's territory were all exceptionally large. The most prominent feature was the enormous intertwined vines that reached up to the clouds!
In the middle of these giant vines, on a cloud island extension:
Shoo shoo shoo!
The air was filled with the trajectories of Breath Dials, countless muscular men with wings and wearing minimal grass skirts darted through the sky, using the convenience of Sky Island Dials.
The fast-moving figures drew graceful arcs in the air.
On the opposite side stood the well-prepared God's army. Compared to the Shandians' simple weaponry, these soldiers were fully armed, equipped with powerful shell weapons from head to toe.
"Warriors, today is the day we reclaim our homeland. Follow my lead and drive that damned God Gan Fall out of Upper Yard!" shouted Wiper, the leader known as the War Demon, at the forefront of the Shandians.
He was shirtless, with muscles bulging and a mortar cannon on his shoulder. Various unique Sky Island Dials hung from his waist.
"Reclaim our homeland, drive out Gan Fall!!"
"Reclaim our homeland, drive out Gan Fall!!"
Wiper's call ignited the Shandians' spirits. Despite just having fought a fierce battle and being exhausted, they now pushed beyond their limits, fueled by the desire to reclaim their land and set foot on their homeland again!
At the end of their charge stood the current God of Sky Island, Gan Fall, clad in silver armor and holding a circular lance. He watched Wiper with a serious expression.
"Wiper! I still hope you can accept my proposal for coexistence. The existence of Upper Yard has integrated deeply into the lives of God's Country. As the ruler here, I simply cannot hand over such an uncertain place to you without any reservations!"
Gan Fall's aged face showed a look of deep conflict.
Over hundreds of years, Upper Yard had become a part of the Sky Island, essential to the residents' daily lives.
While the residents of Angel Island could survive without Upper Yard, as a manager, Gan Fall had to consider the broader, more complex issues.
Upper Yard bordered Angel Island. If handed over to the Shandians, conflicts were bound to erupt, leading to unimaginable wars in the future.
This was just one of the obvious problems.
Despite knowing his position was unfair, Gan Fall had to stop Wiper's reckless actions to prevent worse scenarios in the future.
The Shandians carried a heavy burden, and so did he…
"Bullshit, Gan Fall! Apart from returning Upper Yard, there's nothing more to discuss!" shouted the rough-tempered Wiper.
He soared into the air, biting down in anger as he faced Gan Fall. Seeing the unyielding determination in Gan Fall's eyes, he did not hesitate, unstrapping his mortar cannon to start the final battle.
Based on the original story's progression, this attack on God's Country would likely fail. Gan Fall's army would hold Upper Yard until Enel and his four priests arrived.
However, this time, the storyline would change!
Buzz buzz buzz!
Just as Wiper was about to pull the trigger, a loud engine roar came from the sky above the battlefield.
Everyone looked up to see a seven-meter-tall steel machine descending from the sky. The two rows of pipes on its back spewed red flames, allowing it to hover steadily in mid-air.
Beneath its steel helmet, two blue eyes lit up with a cool glow. On closer inspection, tiny electric arcs could be seen jumping within them.
Meowth had not only made this first-generation robot larger and stronger but had also replaced its ordinary core energy with a special Sky Island Thunder Dial capable of storing Zyhark's lightning power.
As a result, the first-generation robot's power system was incredibly strong. Even if depleted, as long as Zyhark was around, it could recharge infinitely!
This modification sounded simple but was actually very high-tech, achievable only by a tech-savvy genius like Meowth.
"What is that thing?"
"Is it one of the terrifying creatures living in Upper Yard?"
"No, it looks more like a human creation. Are those Sky Island Dials on its back and hands?!"
Both the soldiers of God's Country and the Shandian warriors were captivated by the sudden appearance of the first-generation robot.
Even the well-traveled Gan Fall stood up in shock from his flying bird, his eyes narrowing as he stared at the strange machine hovering in the sky.
"What is that thing? I heard it, you asked, didn't you? You really asked!" As Gan Fall, Wiper, and the others wondered where the girlish voice came from, the joints of the hovering robot emitted thick black smoke.
With the smoke enveloping the first-generation robot, two figures gradually appeared on its shoulders.
"Since you sincerely asked, we will mercifully tell you~"
"To prevent the world from being destroyed."
"To protect the peace of the world."
"To carry out love and true evil."
"The cute and charming villains."
As the black smoke dissipated, Zyhark in a light blue shirt and Aqua in a goddess short skirt were revealed.
Even the usually serious Zyhark looked a bit like a comedic actor in this scene.
Surrounded by inexplicable rose petals, Zyhark's mouth curled into a smile as he continued the villain's entrance lines.
"Zyhark!"
"Aqua!"
"We are the wandering sea restaurant, White Hole, the white tomorrow is waiting for us!"
At the last words, Meowth catapulted from the co-pilot seat, performing a few mid-air spins before landing smoothly and shouting enthusiastically:
"That's right, Meow!"
Zyhark's initial plan was to stop this conflict by portraying themselves as villains.
Unlike Birka, Angel Island had its established ruler, Gan Fall, making it too troublesome to convert the residents to worship Aqua.
As for Wiper and the Shandians, who had their homeland seized, they were eager to tear the so-called God to pieces!
Compared to uncertain faith, the City of Gold hidden in Upper Yard was their key goal. Given that the island floated high above the sea, they didn't have to worry about excessive actions leading to bounties and unnecessary trouble.
Thus, demonstrating overwhelming strength was the most efficient way to resolve the conflict—a hardcore mediation.
Without any real danger, Zyhark decided to humor Aqua and Meowth with a bit of role-playing, reminiscent of their past antics.
As the leader of this group, Zyhark sometimes silently watched his crew. Meowth often stared longingly at the R-sign above the restaurant door, likely missing the days with Team Rocket.
Zyhark didn't fully understand the pool's summoning rules and didn't know if reverse summoning to their world was possible. But, having boarded his ship, they were his crew!
Even if it meant reciting embarrassing lines, he, the usually serious captain, decided to indulge in a bit of uncharacteristic silliness.
And indeed, Meowth, standing atop the robot's helmet, was moved to tears by the familiar atmosphere. The warriors on both sides of the battlefield, however, were left in stunned silence.
Gan Fall, Wiper, and the warriors: "..."
The bizarre entrance, the inexplicable lines, the strange machine, and the talking cat—all these details left them at a loss for words.
Even Cobess, who had traveled with them in the robot and was now observing from a high cloud island, was left dumbfounded.
"Cute and charming... villains?"
"Isn't Aqua-sama the goddess of Birka?"
Cobess, her hands on her head, vigorously shook her high ponytail, trying to make sense of the situation.
She wanted to run over and ask, but without Wind Dial shoes, she couldn't leave her floating cloud island and could only watch as events unfolded.
"We happened to be passing by and heard you were waging war over the ownership of the island, so we came to see what's going on. Hope you don't mind," Zyhark said, breaking the silence as he stood on the robot's shoulder.
"From what I see, both sides have reasons they can't compromise. Since the conflict can't be resolved, how about this…"
"You all leave this place and give this source of conflict to me. Let me bear this burden of conflict and pain!"
His eyes swept over the rapidly darkening faces of Gan Fall and Wiper. Zyhark sneered arrogantly, fully embracing the villain role.
"That's it, I've spoken. Who agrees? Who opposes?"
This blatant disregard ignited Wiper's fury completely.
"You reckless fool! No matter who you are, trying to seize Upper Yard makes you our enemy!"
With that, he aimed his mortar cannon at the robot and pulled the trigger without hesitation.
Shoo!
The cold black shell shot out, trailing a stream of air.
In the main cockpit, King calmly watched the red alert on the screen, leisurely placing two fingers on the control stick.
With a simple, deliberate sidestep, the massive robot effortlessly dodged the shell. The shell passed just a centimeter away from the robot's arm.
Boom!
The shell struck the base of the giant vine, exploding into a burst of fiery debris.
Simultaneously, the robot's left arm raised, its steel cover sliding open to reveal an R-marked rocket. With precise movements, King executed the commands to aim, lock, and fire almost instantaneously!
Even with the upgraded lightning core, the robot nearly struggled to keep up with King's speed…
Shoo~
The faster and more powerful rocket launched, hitting a stone ten meters from Wiper's feet before he could react.
Boom!
Even though King intentionally missed, the explosion's shockwave still sent Wiper and several Shandian warriors flying, scattering them across the area.
This demonstrated the stark difference in power between primitive cannons and advanced robots!
"King is flawless in every aspect. I doubt I could last ten minutes against him with the same robot," Meowth muttered, feeling defeated atop the robot's head.
Having witnessed King's terrifying talent firsthand, Meowth had to acknowledge his superiority.
In contrast, despite witnessing such impressive feats, Aqua remained despondent.
"As a noble and pure goddess, I can't believe I uttered such embarrassing lines that would make Eris laugh to death…"
"I'm tainted. This goddess is no longer pure…"
Head bowed, Aqua's face was etched with lines of despair, her unfocused eyes staring at her trembling hands. She still couldn't shake the humiliation of the earlier scene.
"Enough, Aqua. Let King and Meowth handle the rest," Zyhark, standing on the robot's right shoulder, said as he noticed the warriors closing in.
After their grand entrance, as planned, Zyhark now had to leave the battlefield to King and the robot.
Seeing Aqua still lost in her despair, Zyhark enveloped her in his lightning and transformed into a streak of blue electricity, disappearing in a flash.
