The ravagers kept looking at the group on the ground as Nyxarios kept laughing in a deep and dangerous voice. Belfyre slithered over to Jason and slung him over the shoulder of its human size. Nyxarios grabbed Alsvid. It had grown large enough to hold Alsvid like a candle stick. Shadow reaper summoned a shadow bird to carry kage's unconscious body and they left.
The ravagers started moving through the forest at a speed that was all too familiar to the group. The ravagers had slowed down as to not further injure their targets and were currently moving at the speed of a car on a highway. They were moving at least 70 mph and were dodging all obstacles and trees in their way. This was true for Belfyre anyway since he was the only one that actually had to worry about obstacles. Nyxarios had a black aura around it that caused any obstacles in front of it to disappeared when they came too close to it and shadow reaper was using a bird to transport Kage so didn't need to worry about obstacles. At the speed they were going they would get to Kage's location in a week.
Alsvid had been awake this entire time. He was waiting to regain some of his essence back and was also using this temporary peace to try and come up with a plan. He was trying to use Kage's method to create a skill perfect enough to help escape this predicament while his captor was destructed with moving.
Jason was also conscious but very injured. He would not regain all the lost blood anytime soon and was actually trying to test the blood oozing from Belfyre's body to see if it could heal him.
A groan was head as Kage slowly regained consciousness. He quickly assessed the situation and continued to act unconscious to try and figure out a plan of escape, almost all of them were trying to find a way to escape.
Yoruichi was left stunned and speeches when her entire group was abducted and she was left alone. Seeing the danger first hand she knew she had wasted the last two months of training but what worried her more was weather her team was alright oh not. She started following the trail of emptiness that was left by Nyxarios hoping to catch up to them.
After a few minutes to an hour of moving the trio had finally deviced their very own was of escape.
Jason had not been able to use this skill the first time due to the suddenness of attack but now that he wasn't under constant attacks he decided to use it.
Red clouds started to gather on top of the ravagers despite their speed. It was midday and the clouds managed to cast a perfect red shadow on the three ravagers. Then it started raining blood. At first the blood rain had bearly any affect on the ravagers and they didn't even stop moving. Belfyre was used to blood and even though the droplets were acidic it didn't affect it. Nyxarios was not even touched by the droplets as they disappeared before getting close and Shadow reaper and his bird were both shadows so they couldn't be effected. But then the rain adapted.
The rain was not affecting Jason in any way and both Alsvid and Kage had their shields on. The rain changed a bit. The droplets started darkening. The darkened blood had the sole purpose of bypassing all defense systems. It was perfect for dealing damage to everyone other than the ravagers as the others started getting affected. Jason was about to cancel the skill when a dark red lightning struck Nyxarios's head, causing it to falter a little and almost fall but it caught itself and continued running. When another strike appeared all ravagers moved slightly causing it to miss. This became a new game. The lighting started becoming more frequent as the ravagers dodged them with ease. Eventually it stopped raining entirely and everything that came down was blood thunder strikes.
After the ravagers got the rhythm of the thunder strikes and started having a fluent motion, black blood tornadoes started spawning. What made the tornadoes special were their ability to encase anything they touch in a blood coating before flinging them at their targets. Everytime they came in contact with any of the ravagers they caused them to go blind for a split second which would mess with their timing and cause the thunder strikes to hit them.
Despite the strain everything was putting on his body, Jason held the skill out for as long as he could. The skill then adapted once more to help Jason gain more blood from its enemies, something that was made specifically for Belfyre since blood was just oozing from it. A large stream of blood started escaping Belfyre into the clouds and yet it made no difference to the ravager. It was still going strong and Jason wasn't really benefiting from the blood.
He pointed a finger at the shadow bird in the sky as he paid attention to how the blood strikes worked. He then released quite a bit of essence aiming at the birds head. At the same time a specific type of blood strike shot off towards Nyxarios.
Both beings were able to react on time. The bird stopped flying abruptly and the strike missed. Nyxarios dodged the strike aiming at his head as it struck the ground with a lot of force.
Bang...
Bang...
Two simultaneous impacts were heard. One was a thunder strike hitting the bird and the other was the lightning that Nyxarios dodged hitting the arm that held Alsvid as both beings let go of their captives involuntarily.
