No one could have benefitted if they framed Alyssane.
Neither her life, nor her status held any true value, and there were way too many easier ways to ruin her life. Then why would anyone go so far as to have her falsely framed for treason?

Alyssane held her breath as Kazmun walked closer.
'Someone wanted to stain his name through me.'
At the same time, she felt a subtle hardness in Raphael's grip. Her heart pounded in her chest, she had bet everything on Kazmun, but what if her assumption was wrong? What if he did not care even if she had purposefully dragged his name into the situation?
Kazmun paused a few steps away from her.
His eyes, dark and intense, lingered on her for a fleeting moment before shifting to the pair of pale maids. Both of them flinched at once, "Come here," he commanded.
