In the following days, Alyssane spent a lot of time in her mind.
She had to know more about what was going on in the palace, her last vision had ended too abruptly, and she could not be at peace unless she spent every possible moment trying to learn the truth.
Strangely, using the visions did not strain her body or mind. However, Alyssane could feel the effects of the mushroom gradually ebbing away.
She could not learn much about the Duchess' plan in those days. All she managed was to confirm that she was somehow involved in the poisoning of the Archduchess and that she was also the one to send that wretched dress.
But Alyssane could never learn much. The visions she saw of Serena were more often than not very disorienting as if there was a wall in between them. Alyssane could only manage to catch glimpses of her life once every day.
Most of the details were mundane.
Some held crucial information.
