Chapter 18 - Journey to White snow island

A month had passed and Adam was still in jail. His relationship with Old Simon didn't flutter. The old man visited him three times weekly and brought s not provisions for him to make use of. He knew Adam only did what he did because the old man was being bullied.

Adam wasn't given the right to a trial and awaited punishment from the higher Judiciary. This was how this planet was and treated their lower-class citizens."No wonder people don't think twice when betraying their race. Humans are really disgusting in all ways, except for being good looking."

Adam only felt disdain for humans as he had seen how these people ran their life in the dark. They were beyond worthless in his eyes, maybe because his emotions were no more his and he willingly gave cotrol to his inner demon, though he didn't know how to communicate with it.

"Prisoner 1900876, you are acquitted from your crimes and now a free man. You are to report to White Snow Island to begin a new life as one of the few geniuses on the planet."

The ward's words only made him feel amused. Prison was the fastest way for him to get stronger at the moment. And now, they have given him a more suitable environment to become invincible. How stupid could humans really be?

Adam left his cell after unshackling himself without keys. This made the warder feel afraid, most especially the outburst of energy exuding his body like rampaging tides. Adam kneeled the warder on his groin, which consumed half of the warder's life force. Now his life was totally ruined.

After careful procedures, Adam got out of jail in fresh clothes and his ID as well as his Passport and License of Age Maturity were all prepared and he was taken to a private hanger and boarded a FJ-877 luxury jet, which was a limited edition atmosphere type aircraft worth millions in the galactic market.

Adam was greeted by a hostess an the pilot as he went into tge cabin room of the plane. It felt off but he didn't decline their hospitality. After the pilot was given air clearance, he took off to their destination.

The pilot landed on a large platform and switched off the engines, thus alertin Adam who was resting. Then the hostess came in as quickly as she coul to give a proper explanation.

"Sir, White snow island is not on planet earth. it is located at another planet for some reasons. So we can't go there with an atmosphere type. We'll be switching from this plane to a spacecraft owned by the White snow organization."

Adam quickly calculated and understood the situation."Alright, we better get going. I don't like the feeling of being in a spacecraft. And don't disturb...uh?" He stopped talking when he received a system notification.

This was harder than he thought. How does this unknown thing operates and why does it forces him to do what he doesn't like doing? That would be a question better left unanswered.

After an hour, Adam was already onboard a spacecraft filled with people, dressed in luxurious clothing. He wasn't affected by it because he knew Identity forged by wealth and connections were invalid for members of the Island.

"FR-02|II is ready for takeoff. All passengers should buckle up their sit belts and remain calm until we reach the imbound point!" The Co-pilot informed the passengers before deactivating the radio function.

Not long after, the ingnition was hit and blue flames burst out the ship as it slowly but steadily left it's restraint. After careful logout, the pilot was given clearance by the space station and he took off at an unimaginable speed. The ship successfully left planet earth and reached outer space, where the Captain instucted the crew in-charge of the reactor generator to put the ship on hyperdive.

"Captain, the ship is on hyperdive. Speed coverage of 10 light years per hour at average. Eta, 2 days." The crew member reported back to the captain when everything was ready and the journey went smoothly.

Adam would not ecounter any issues throughout his journey since their routes were guarded tightly against pirates and mercenaries.
