Getting off the train was as easy as getting on. There was a long line of people. Cain and Andrew stood behind me, waiting to get off. They shifted from foot to foot. Sighing now and then. The line moved slowly. We got closer to the door. How did we get so far in line when we were next to the exit? Where did all these people come from?
"It's always like this," Cain hissed. I turned my head to look at him. "Lunch is just as bad." He answered my quiet question. I nodded my head and faced forward.
I never thought about it. That there would be more people than in my village in school. So many people were on the train and these were just the ones that left for summer vacation. There would be more in the school. I gripped onto the bottom of my shirt. I wished Abby was here. Then I wouldn't feel so alone.
