The written language wasn't that hard to learn. It was easier than some languages known and used today. The language being read up from right to left was the most challenging thing about it. The teacher was kind to us, giving us one word to translate at a time. Our home work looked like a bunch of lines with blank spaces next to it to figure out more. It helped familiarize ourselves with the writing style before trying to translate a full spell.
It made me wonder how each letter looked in braille as they were all lines. Was there a different braille for the witch language? Or did Kathryn just have to read what was on the paper? She was busy, and I got little time to talk to her. Our math class was fill with us trying to solve the problems quickly so we could catch up.
