Everyone has that one person they regret knowing right?
So, what would you do if that person showed up right now?
…
"Let's go to a hotel then~" a girl hung onto Seo Younghee's arm, the two walking out of the busy club onto the streets filled with drunks and other students.
"Sure," she replied bluntly, swiping through her phone.
"Come on, you need a break!" a girl's voice was heard close to the two.
"Yes she's right, let's go," another chimed in.
Seo Younghee looked up to see a group of girls surrounding one, two had their arms around her, and two stood by the side. It seemed they were trying to convince the middle to go to the club with them. She paused as her eyes wandered to the girl in the centre.
"...Ari?" Younghee whispered, her arm dropping.
"Hm? Do you know her?" the girl hugging her arm asked. Younghee's eyes widened, not listening, still having her focus on the girl in front.
The girl in the centre of the group was still trying to stop her friends from dragging her to the club but hesitated as she met younghee's eyes, her mouth turning into a smile. She shook her friends' arms off and ushered them to go ahead without her.
"Hey, are you listening?" the girl beside Younghee whined as she still seemed to be in a different place. Only returning as a familiar voice called out a once too familiar nickname.
"Youngyoung!" The girl opposite ran towards them, bringing Younghee into a hug as she snapped out of her daydream, "it's been a while."
"Hey! What are you doing!?"
"Oh sorry, you are..?" Ari asked, taking a step back as she looked at the girl who was eyeing her.
"..oh she's just a friend," Younghee replied quickly, pushing the girl's hands off her arm, causing her to frown.
"I see," Ari smiled.
"Hey sorry I can't go with you tonight," Younghee muttered to the girl.
"Are you serious? You're ditching me?" the girl asked in an annoyed tone, scoffing and storming off as Younghee threw a glare at her.
"Are you sure that's okay?" Ari asked.
"Don't worry it's fine," Younghee replied, her focus back on Ari again.
"It's been a long time hasn't it? I've missed you."
"It has.." younghee whispered.
"I didn't know you came here too."
"Oh it's close to my university."
"Oh, are you attending A university too?"
"Yes, are you?" Younghee asked, Ari nodded. "I see."
"This is good! We can hang out again like before!" She smiled brightly, making Younghee giggle a bit.
"Anyway, give me your phone,'' Ari said. Younghee handed her phone over as Ari typed something in, glancing over her phone and Younghee's, "here I've saved your number and mine, I need to get going, my friends are waiting.'' The latter comment causing the other to frown as she took the phone from Ari.
Still, she gave a weak smile as she waved the other goodbye, " I'll see you soon then."
Ah… she changed her number huh.. She stared at her phone for a moment before walking off in the opposite direction, feeling an arm yanking her as she turned a corner.
"Well what was that!?" It was the girl from before.
"..why are you still here?" Younghee sighed tiredly.
"What do you mean? You agreed to do it tonight, I'm not just going to go home you know," the girl said, her arms crossed.
"Ha.. I'm not in the mood, let's do it another time," she groaned.
"How can you say that, you promised!"
"I didn't promise anything, and I've already told you to go, aren't you a bit too desperate?" The girl flinched, her mouth dropping.
A angry, "fine," coming from her as she stormed off.
"Ugh.." She sighed, putting a hand up to her head, "such a pain." She leaned against the sidewall for a second before pulling her phone out again, ...well.
"I'm here~" An unusual sweet tone sounded from Seo Younghee as she changed her shoes by the apartment door. Handing a bouquet of flowers to a girl sat on the floor, eyes glued to the TV in front of her. The girl's long soft brown hair down to her waist gently moved with her as she turned her head around. Pale skin complimenting the blush on her cheeks as her round greyish blue eyes moved to Younghee, the light rose lips curling up into a smile.
"What's this," she asked, taking the flowers.
"You said you bought a vase the other day didn't you?" Younghee replied as she sat down besides the girl.
"...Younghee it's like 11pm, where did you get flowers from.." she questioned, head tilting to the side as she laid the flowers down on the glass table.
"Are you really surprised I got flowers?" Younghee chuckled, "Nari come on now."
"..whatever," Nari sighed, getting up to get a glass of water from her kitchen sink. She let out a laugh as another hand reached from behind, turning the tap off. She set the glass on the counter before turning around, her arms leaning on Younghee's shoulders as the other leaned in, smirking before planting a kiss on the other's lip.
"You're leaving already?" Nari asked, lying on her stomach.
"Yeah, I have a class tomorrow morning," Younghee said, putting her jacket back on.
"Did something happen today?"
"Hm? Why do you ask?" She paused, turning to look at Nari.
"You seem a bit out of it that's all," Nari said, turning to lie on her sides.
Younghee hesitated for a second before answering, "I met an old friend."
"Is that it?"
Younghee grinned, "anyway I'm going," standing up and grabbing her phone that was lying on the side table.
"Mm ok, do you have time tomorrow?" Nari asked, pulling on Younghee's shirt. "At lunch."
"I should-'' PING! A message came through from the contact saved earlier. hey youngyoung, let's meet for lunch tomorrow, catch up :)
"...never mind I can't tomorrow."
"Hm? Alright then, I guess I'll see you another time," Nari replied disappointed, rolling onto her back as Younghee left.
