Lore related
Horizon: It is equivalent to Heaven. With an entity named Sage as the prophet of the Horizon. As the story progress our main character will find more about this. Read carefully as I drop hints and extra information.
Knighthood: It is is supposed to be represent a lineage of strong people who are deemed to be different than general public. Like real life aristocrats. A normal citizen obtains knighthood by contributing in battles or it can be awarded by a sentinel.
Sentinels: The heads of strongest knighthoods are called as sentinels. Their numbers are limited. They have swore to protect humanity until their last breath. But as the generations passes and the other races on verge on revolt, these morales are slowly degrading.
Red border: At the peak of war against vampyers, the human made a crucial mistake and lost a large portion of their land. Which allowed vampires to push humans to the corners of the world. This lost divided humanity into two regions, one barren land filled with sand while the other fallen ruin of the once all mighty empire. Yet, both sides struggle in hope of unifying once more. But they do not know if the other side still exist as it has been years since they last communicated. The middle portion between these two partition is called as the Red border which is under control of the vampire.
Blessed: Every person in this world is born to wield a specific element and sometimes that person undergoes a mutation. Which allows them to wield very distinct power of their original element. Ex (Fire->Lava OR Water->Ice) Such person is believed to be blessed by the Horizon.
Duels: The person who has the ability to wield two different elements is called as Duel. A duel is rarer than Blessed.
Halfbloods: A offspring created by the meeting of two different race is called as Halfbloods. They are often treated as the lowest of the low in the society. To regain their social status, they can either leave human settlement or marry a pure blooded human. That is why adult industry or prostitution is filled with halfbloods. Halfbloods are created if any race other than human makes an offspring with another human. If that halfblood went ahead and created offspring with another pure blooded human, that offspring is still considered as halfblood. Though the features of the original race diminishes as the cursed blood gets thinner and human blood thickens.
Branch family: If a member of an well-established knighthood decides to have children with a Half blood or with any other race than human. The offsprings produced would not be included in the main family until they are baptized. baptism is very rare and nobody likes half bloods. The halfblood offspring has the right to create a branch family with the same as the main family. They work under the main family. Their whole purpose is to please the main family in the hopes of getting baptized.
