_Am I wrong? Mr. Joe was momentarily stunned when he thought about the possibility of his thesis being incorrect. For a moment, he was in a daze as he stared blankly at his surroundings.
Is there a new organization similar to the Swat that I'm unaware of?_ Taking a second look at Yebou's expression, he felt unease.
For the first time in his career, he questioned the potency of his networking and connections because he felt like he was being ridiculed for not being aware of something great going on.
He saw Yebou's smile as a provoking one as if saying, "Find out yourself if you have the capability."
_Damn it!! Such a huge conspiracy had been going on and I was completely oblivious to it?
Mr. Joe cursed angrily.
After thinking through Yebou's words and remembering the look on his face when he said those words, he became completely convinced and hence attributed it to the failure of his networking and connections.
Yebou on the other hand, stood up from his seat as he made his way to the door. He felt his meeting with the assassin was finally over as they had said whatever that was needed to be said.
Oblivious to him, his mischievous behavior had caused a huge misunderstanding between him and Mr. Joe as the latter had come to terms with the fact that there was a new organization similar to the Swat that trains specially gifted people that he was unaware of.
Regardless, it was good for him because it seemed to go in his favor. Sergeant Quaye wouldn't be skeptical about his origins.
With just a little effort and smartness, one would be able to discern the words that had been spoken provided he/she was monitoring them from the observation room which he hundred percent believes Sergeant Quaye did.
_No! It's because he is too young that's the reason he hasn't been introduced into the organization yet._ Sergeant Quaye exclaimed inwardly after a sudden realization.
Initially, he had also thought that there was perhaps a similar organization to the Swat that he was unaware of. However, after doing some little thinking, he was sure that wasn't the case at all.
As someone within the security sector and one with a notable rank at that, there was nothing in relation to his profession that would be hidden from him no matter the level of its secrecy.
The only plausible reason he could think of was Yebou's age. It's rumored that the eligible age to be recruited into the Swat Unit was 18 and above. But, looking at Yebou, he seems to be sixteen or seventeen at most. He's yet to reach the eligible age.
Unknown to Yebou, his worry was unnecessary as Sergeant Quaye had an entirely different view from Mr. Joe.
Realizing the seriousness of the matter at hand, Mr. Joe calmed himself down as he thought of ways to inform and warn his partners and colleagues from the organization.
However, when he lifted his head to take a look at Yebou and negotiate with him for his release, he met an empty air as Yebou was nowhere to be found.
He only heard the noise of someone closing the door. "Clang!" Yebou was gone.
