"Well, Grandpa, though we might not know the reason as to why your daughter refrains from telling you what happened, however, we won't keep it a secret from you.
About three weeks ago, children started going missing. As time went on, the number kept increasing. The whole village was put in a panicked state. No parent wanted to even send their children to run errands. For fear of them going missing.
"Kidnapping children?" who could be so evil to do that kind of thing? Mr. Joe said feigning anger.
"Hmmm. The parents of the missing children went to the police station to demonstrate thereby giving them a deadline to find them their missing children. The village was deemed unsafe and no one had any idea what was happening.
All our hopes were placed on the police as they assured us that they would find the culprits behind the disappearance of the children.
Truly, the police kept their promise.
A day later, it was our first time witnessing such an incredible scene. One of the women replied. She seemed to be the sociable type, unlike the other who had kept quiet throughout the conversation.
"Oh!" Mr. Joe muttered softly as he perked his ears, ready to listen to what the woman would say next.
"Seven cars with loud sirens were brought out of the police headquarters which headed towards Manfe. Apparently, the cars were said to be called police cars. The woman continued.
"Police cars? What are those? Mr. Joe feigned ignorance. Police cars seem to be something new to the people here judging by the statement the woman made referring to the fleet of cars as"witnessing something incredible."
He couldn't keep mute if he wanted his acting to look perfect in the eyes of the women.
"I heard that they are cars the police use when they are on missions. For example, when they want to arrest a criminal on the run." She replied. She believed the old man meant the question he asked.
When they also heard the word "Police cars" for the first time, they became confused at first. It was only after they had been told the meaning behind the name that they realized their ignorance.
"Oh, so that's what it means!" Mr. Joe exclaimed, pretending as if realization had dawned upon him after listening to the meaning behind the words. However, inwardly, he was asking himself if what the woman had was everything that or if there was more to it.
"Hahahahaha. The women laughed when they realized they had also made someone realize his ignorance, although the person was an old man.
"Well, Grandpa, that's not all." The woman said, smiling with all her teeth on display.
"There's more?" Mr. Joe became overjoyed. He had thought that what the woman said was all that needed to be said. Not knowing there was more to the matter.
"Of course, Grandpa. We haven't even said the most shocking part. Replied for the first time by the woman who had kept quiet throughout the entire conversation.
"About two hours later, the police cars returned to the station. However, the most shocking part was that there were many people with handcuffs on their hands being brought out of the cars when they stopped at the police station.
"Can you guess who they were?
