The late autumn night in the north was exceptionally cold, with the wind seeping into clothes, making Lena shiver as she snuggled into Grayson's embrace. Grayson lifted Lena into the car, started the engine, turned on the heater, and watched Lena's pale face gradually regain a rosy glow.
Driving through the dark night, the car moved steadily without any bumps. Lena became quiet after getting into the car, leaning against the window, massaging her dizzy head. Grayson glanced at her but remained silent.
Feeling extremely uncomfortable with a turbulent stomach and a throbbing headache as if her brain was about to burst, Lena exclaimed, "I feel like vomiting!" Grayson immediately slammed on the brakes. Before the car could stabilize, Lena rushed out and vomited on the roadside, feeling like bile was coming out.
Grayson took a bottle of mineral water from the trunk, holding it in one hand while patting Lena's back with the other. After fifteen minutes of vomiting, Lena finally felt a bit better. "Rinse your mouth," Grayson handed her the mineral water.
Back in the car, Lena closed her eyes, leaning against the seat. When the car stopped, she slowly opened her eyes, realizing they had reached home. She pushed open the car door, got out, feeling a bit better. It wasn't like earlier, feeling like she was walking on cotton or floating on water.
She was about to thank Grayson when he had already walked behind her, not giving her a chance to speak, and lifted her up princess-style. Looking up at him, Lena saw his well-defined facial features looking even more handsome and mysterious in the night, with deep and enigmatic eyes that seemed to pull her in.
Furrowing his brows, Grayson tightened his grip around her slender waist, making Lena feel even more dizzy and entranced. At the doorstep, Lena fumbled for her keys in her bag, missing the keyhole several times. "So clumsy," Grayson took Lena's hand, guiding her to open the door.
As they opened the door, it closed again. Feeling the softness of her back, Grayson placed her on the bed. As soon as Lena touched the bed, she felt the room spinning, watching the lights on the ceiling spin in circles.
Grayson got up to prepare a cup of honey water to help her sober up. Lena's hand grabbed Grayson's as he was about to leave, but with too much force, she ripped off two buttons from his shirt, revealing his wheat-colored chest muscles. Drunk Lena unconsciously swallowed, and Grayson raised an eyebrow, "What's wrong, trying to act rogue?"
Lena held onto him tightly, suddenly burst into tears, continuously hitting him, "Wuwu... Grayson, you bully me, I hate you!"
Grayson grabbed Lena's hand that was scratching him and moved it down slowly. As if by magic, all the buttons on his shirt were undone, revealing Grayson's eight-pack abs in front of Lena's eyes. Seeing Grayson, so breathtakingly handsome, Lena became even more dizzy and wanted to turn her face away. She dared not look directly at him!
"Lena."
Just two simple words from Grayson's mouth, and Lena froze all over. Lena clearly felt Grayson's masculine aura lingering in the air, making her feel even more intoxicated. She didn't want to wake up!
"Lena, I want to…"
