A lot of people said it to me while I was inside the hotel, so I wasn't surprised or amused to hear it from the lady.
A little smile only appeared on my face as I voiced out, "Did what I had to do, I couldn't allow him end his life just like that. So I had to put in effort to persuade him so he wouldn't do what his mind was telling him to do".
"And you succeeded". She said.
"Yeah, I succeeded, that's the joyous part of it".
"And because of what you did, a certain organization was revealed that could help out people with suicidal thoughts".
"Yeah".
"Once again, you did an excellent job in saving that man's life. Can we shake hands?". The lady uttered.
"Sure, we can do that". I stated.
And with that, we shook hands before she began walking away. And I didn't waste time to begin walking as well...as known, my destination was my bank.
