I was cracking my brain thinking of what else I should do apart from what I was doing now to stop this man from committing suicide.
I needed to find another way since the one I was implementing now wasn't working out. He was too determined, so I needed to find something stronger.
I was still cracking my brain when an idea finally crashed into my head, and I wouldn't waste time to implement it...
The man was about to jump into the water when my voice resounded again,

And he waited. You see? He was about to jump into the water before my voice resounded again. So after everything I said and all the persuading to come down from the barricade, he still wanted to jump into the water.
