A little smile appeared on my face after she said that, then I voiced out,
"Did what I had to do, I couldn't allow the man end his life just like that".
"Not everyone has that kind of mindset. Many would easily get tired of persuading him and leave him there like that to do whatever he wanted to do. You're a hero". Ivy said to me once again.
I couldn't help but laugh a little after she said that, then I stated, "Thanks for saying that, I appreciate".
Silence ensued after that as the both of us sipped our wines a little. Then my voice resounded,
"If you were the one at the Virduff Bridge and had the opportunity to stop the man from committing suicide. Would you have done it?".
"Of course, that's easy, I would have stopped him from committing suicide. I can't allow him to jump into the water and end his life when I could have persuaded him not to do so, my conscience wouldn't let me". She responded.
